Singer and actor U-Nee (26) ended her own life yesterday. She was perceived as a bright and an outgoing person, which makes this tragic story even more surprising. Many speculate that her depression and anti’s unfavorable reaction to her upcoming album were responsible for her tragic decision.
U-Nee debuted when she was in 8th grade as “Lee Hae-Ryn“, playing supporting and leading roles in various dramas and movies, including Born to Kill, Seventeen, and King and Queen. Then she changed her name to U-Nee in 2003 to release her first album. It was a rough start for the new singer, but she began to gain popularity after releasing her second album - “Call Call Call.”
Rest in Peace U-Nee. You’ll be greatly missed by by all.

I’m a fan of Korean’s not only to their stars but to their culture also! I didn’t know that Jung Da Bin is dead I’m so ridiculous and pathetic…….. sometimes they say that it is so hard to be a celebrity you know why people will love you but you cannot please anyone… sometimes we envy artist because they are popular or because of the fame that fans gave them, we like the way they are but if they made mistakes we criticize them until we didn’t realize that we are doing something beyond the limits even they are celebrities they are still humans, people are not perfect but celebrity also should realize that they are the icon people love the way there are they have to change a bit for the sake of their image which is sometimes bad, but I think its not that bad because this is a way to become a professional in terms on how are you going to discipline your self in facing everyone and how are you going to discipline you self when your doing your job, dont be a dumb of you become that famous because in a one click you might lose you popularity, sometimes this are the mistakes of celeb, thier head becomes bigger.. people do change but i hope that changes is for the good ones….. people envy artist because maybe they dont like it, maybe they see something that others dont see… ots ok to criticize or not to like them as long as you know youre limits because we dont know we might kill someone because of what we have said word are like guns that if you pull the trigger you cant stop it anymore, we should be considerate sometimes celebs also has thier own problems like family problems… i like celebrities but it doesnt mean that i like to be like him.. you can be a fan eventhough you wount follow the way a celebrity do… i like celebrity it is because of thier talents of course it includes the physical appearance which is sometimes we misunderstood because not all good looking celeb has a good attitude.. remember that.. thanks for letting me post my message popseoul..
*sigh* Wow, so many unneeded deaths of beautiful Korean stars. It’s so sad. And 유니 ender her life just 20 days before Jung Da Bin ended hers, which is so super shocking. 유니 was depressed because her records werent selling as much as she hoped as well as criticism about her image. May she and Jung Da Bin Rest In Peace.
I can’t stop thinking why she end up her life just like that.
