Yes, I know it’s too close for comfort, but I need to get my point across. Grey Anatomy star, Sandra Oh was on the red carpet for the Screen Actors Guild Awards in an interesting lacey dress but her makeup was horrendous! Ok, perhaps she must have listened to my plea for a bit more shimmer on the eyes, but this is ridiculous! Her makeup looks just plain horrible! The pinky beige shimmery eyeshadow looks like someone used a spatula instead of a brush. And the way too dark brown-toned lipstick does not go with the pink shadow plus it also makes her look older. And the blush! All of complementary colors, it’s orange!! Sandra, if you are out there, pulezzzze get a new makeup artist!!! I would suggest Eva Longoria’s artist or Beyonce’s. They always look flawless. Also, just in case you are listening, I suggest that you accent the inner corners of your eyes with some dark eyeliner, and the outer corners with false eyelashes…..

all i can say she still is stunning considering the fact that she looks exotic for being not a victim of plastic surgery. i thought the actress from LOST will not subject herself to plastic surgery, but when i saw her interview by SBS (if i am not mistaken), when she smiled her eyes looked horrible. i am happy that Sandra despite her not totally being freaking HOT the way many would define HOTNESS as perfect beauty, she appears to me someone who stands out in the crowd of beauties for her exotic look, not like most Korean actresses that when you put them side by side to each other, all of them look-a-like…no one stands out as REAL…and my favorite actress sad to say has been a victim of the PERFECT BEAUTY concept.

I cannot help but comment! With the heavy set lid…frosted shadow is a major no no….especially applied to he entire lid space! It creates a flat and heavy look, not to mention the powdered texture on a mature skin. The proper way to apply makeup to an eye like this…
Step 1- Moisturize and protect the canvas…(skin)
Step 2- Use light where needed, then a deeper matte shade to create a bone…crease area…
Step 3 Add highlight at outer part of brow…
Now for the brows…. They are totally incorrect!
Apply to lift the outer portion of the face, whoever did the makeup, dragged the face down by applying a deep line downward at the outer part of the eye..
The whole makeup application is not harmonious..
Improper blending, and wrong texture of product! Try the Hydration Technique…She would look amazing!
