Rising actress Jung Da-Bin (27) was found hanging on a rope in her friend’s apartment this morning. The exact cause of her decision is not known, but similar to U-Nee, many suspect that her chronic depression was responsible for her suicide. Jung Da-Bin was mostly known for her role in drama “Cat in Rooftop,” and the movie “The Guy was Cool.”
Unfortunately, her career went downhill since then. She underwent massive plastic surgeries as a desperate attempt to restore it, but it brought her more criticisms than fame. Then, she was caught in a legal battle with her former management company about her contract. On top of this, her mom was diagnosed with uterine cancer a year ago. Jung Da Bin definitely had her share of hard times, but we are still sad and shocked to see her leave us the way she did.

oh no!! that is soooo sad… I mean, i think we all through a point in our lives where we are confused and don’t know what to do or what will happen in the future… but i guess being a star, the uncertainty is greater and there is so much more pressure! Very sorry to hear about her demise at such a young age. I thought that she was one of the more talented K-actresses and that she had a very interesting “look” so I’m also sorry to hear the report of plastic surgery. May she r.i.p.
I have a friend who is in the business and all she gets is “if you make your bridge higher, then you can be even prettier” - but she is smarter than to listen to all that nonsense.

the media speculate that the pressures she got to change her face through plastic surgery was one of the reasons that pushed her over the edge…. that the surgery changed her face and she didn’t like it…. ppl just can’t accept what they look like. It’s very unfortunate. Even for a regular person the pressure is high to get surgery - make your nose higher, get double lids etc. My boss use to joke that the next time he sees me that I will probably get my nose done… and well, so far, I haven’t succumbed to the societal pressures yet….
but who knows? A plastic surgeon I know said that if i get my nose done, it will change my life…. hmmmmmm
why people nowadays can accept what they have.. and why lot’s of people criticizes other by their physical appearance…

I still can’t believe she past away at such a young age (26). She seemed to be such a bubbly and happy person, I guess that’s what we all saw on the outside or on the television, but maybe she was sad, confused, depressed, and a lost soul inside without the flashing lights, being microscopically watched and the constant pressures of the media!! What forced her to end the notorious life that many would desire to reach or have? Did fame finally got the hold of her and everything else she values? We all may never ever know the reason or her reasons for her sudden tragic demise. It’s very disappointing and unfair for her family & friends because they were robbed of a child, a sibling, and a friend. They’re left with many unanswered questions, but hopefully gain to learn and accept that the chapter of her life on earth has ended and a new chapter in paradise has begun, a clean slate.

I was totally shocked!!! I have most of her movie and drama series in my collection because I like her and her attitude every time she acts. But I guess whatever happens in real life is much more cruel than in the movie.
I truly hope she can really rest in piece ‘there’ and pray that God will forgive her soul. If only we are there to support her…

I loved her when I first saw her in Nonstop. She was so funny when it comes to acting that’s why I liked her so much. And we have the same bday too, March 4. I was so surprised when I heard the news on tv.

It’s so sad because I like her so much. I started to like her when I watch the film My 19 old sister-in-law. In this movie she was so funny and cool. So I begann to search for more movies with her in main character.

I just heard the news. For over a year, I tried to find her mail address to write to her, to tell her what big fans my wife and I are of her work, how pretty and talented we think she is, to tell her to keep up the good work. And now this. I feel guilty and ashamed that I didn’t try harder to find her. It stuns me to wonder how many other beautiful young people are out there who desperately need someone to catch them but who simply run out of time waiting. I had no idea she was so sad. I travel from the U.S. to Asia often for work–I should have tried harder to find her. If there are other young men and women out there who suffer this way, know this: total strangers may well think the world of you. Give us a chance to find you before you take yourselves away from us forever.

I’m a fan of Korean’s not only to their stars but to their culture also! I didn’t know that Jung Da Bin is dead I’m so ridiculous and pathetic…….. sometimes they say that it is so hard to be a celebrity you know why people will love you but you cannot please anyone… sometimes we envy artist because they are popular or because of the fame that fans gave them, we like the way they are but if they made mistakes we criticize them until we didn’t realize that we are doing something beyond the limits even they are celebrities they are still humans, people are not perfect but celebrity also should realize that they are the icon people love the way there are they have to change a bit for the sake of their image which is sometimes bad, but I think its not that bad because this is a way to become a professional in terms on how are you going to discipline your self in facing everyone and how are you going to discipline you self when your doing your job, dont be a dumb of you become that famous because in a one click you might lose you popularity, sometimes this are the mistakes of celeb, thier head becomes bigger.. people do change but i hope that changes is for the good ones….. people envy artist because maybe they dont like it, maybe they see something that others dont see… ots ok to criticize or not to like them as long as you know youre limits because we dont know we might kill someone because of what we have said word are like guns that if you pull the trigger you cant stop it anymore, we should be considerate sometimes celebs also has thier own problems like family problems… i like celebrities but it doesnt mean that i like to be like him.. you can be a fan eventhough you wount follow the way a celebrity do… i like celebrity it is because of thier talents of course it includes the physical appearance which is sometimes we misunderstood because not all good looking celeb has a good attitude.. remember that.. thanks for letting me post my message popseoul..
