Up and coming all girls pop group, Baby Vox Rev’s music video was banned from KBS (Korea Broadcasting Station) due to “excessive hip shaking” moves, which aren’t any different from Wondergirls, Lee Hyori or even Rain’s. Of course there are sexual innuendos, but why are their “hip shakings” being banned while other established stars not only shake their booties but even strip on stage? Although we are guilty for criticizing these girls for their confusing group name, it just seems unfair that they have to re-choreograph to re-shoot their music video because of KBS’s double standard.
Do you think that they engaged in “excessive hip shaking?”

a little too underdressed if you ask me…I thought the Wonder Girls video was pretty age appropriate…girls in school uniforms dancing around…nothing to serious. This one was kind of like a lingerie commercial LOL.
i think that it was okay so wat they were shaking their ass for part of the song. There are other singer who do thing on stage that are a lot more inapropriate and it was just one song. they shouldn’t change the video just because KBS think that it was wrong.
the video clip isnt too bad but on variety shows that one kids watch some of the girls were dancing and that starting going on the floor and dancing like crazy
I think it is just repulsive that this video would be banned. There is no harm in what they are doing. If they wanna complain about the way they dress maybe they should look at childrens cartoons and see how violent oriented they are. You ever notice that females in childrens cartoons have big breast, tight fitting clothes and unreal bodies even in the video games. If enough people complain about kbs and boycott them they would wake up.
umm… this is like nothing compare to the american’s MV…XD
i don’t see anything wrong, too much in the video?..look at the videos of american singers like britney spears,SHAKIRA,beyonce, pussycat dolls..come on!..this is the 21st century..being too much conservative is not proper though in this ever-changing worls..XP i’m used to that kind of dancing steps..
Yes, there was one part where the tall girl sticks her ass in the camera that was probably the culprit.
(1:05 to 0:55 of video when timer is counting down)
It’s startlingly more sexually suggestive than the whole rest of the video. Kind of comes out of nowhere “BAM!”
Don’t get me wrong, as a guy, I liked it though.
seriously… just listening to them gave me a migrain (X_X)…. also… i think it’s a little too sexed up for the korean media… probably has to do with the camerapersons area of focus… overall don’t they’ll meet the same amount of success as the original.
when i first heard the chorus i thought that there was an uncanny similarity between their chorus and the chorus of pussycat dolls’ song, buttons, or something like that, and that is like nothing compared to what american stars do
the butt thing in the middle of the song did it. how old is that girl? and they can’t really dance…their moves are so awkward and off.
I agree, the dancing isn’t that good. Koreans aren’t exactly built like Beyonce. Give them credit for trying, but there isn’t much to shake as far as curves are concerned, so what’s to see anyway? They look like 8 year old pretending to imitate an MTV video.
