Will Rain stay with JYP?

0220-rain-jyp.jpg

Rain’s contract with JYP is coming to an end in May and many are wondering if he’ll stay with his founder, Park Jin Young. Nothing has been confirmed or discussed, so we can only speculate what Rain will do, but here are his options.

First, he can stay with JYP, and continue to build his career from there, but there are limitations to this because JYP is a local company. Or he can sign with another management company or better yet, create his own management company. “Hallyu” stars creating their own management firms is becoming a trend in the motherland and top stars such as Bae Young Jun, Lee Byung Hyun, Lee Young-Eh and Eric from Shinhwa are already showing us how it’s done. What should Rain do to build his career as a world pop star?

What happened to his American debut…?? I don’t think Rain would ever leave JYP, maybe to have some type of joint thing with him but JYP basically raised him.

he’ll stay with JYP, i dont think he’s the type to start his oen company, besides JY’s got all the right connections, think about it, all the rappers in the US the whole producing for americas stars. He knows that JYP is the key to his success in the US. I heard rain will be working on his english album after his world tour.

Rain might not leave JYP unless if Park JY oppa don’t want to con’t his contract with Rain. Besides, JYP is the founder of Rain who brought Rain up and become one of the top singer and World star.

I believe, Rain will not leaves JYP. If he wanted to have his own management, I guess unless JYP approach him and support Rain..

I believe Rain appreciate what he has now.. and I am sure he will stay back with JYP.

well this is wat i have been told so far abt this
‘Bi is leaving JYP on May 10th, keeps as independent status until the world concert tour is over.
Official annoucement will be given out on 10th..’
i dont know i have mixed emotions abt this issue, it seems weird that rain wont be under JYP wing anymore after so many yrs and i really do want him to become independent and all but im not sure if its the rite time. i think this decision will seriously alter his life hopefully for the betta.
I REALLY DO WISH RAIN ALL THE BEST FOR THE FUTURE WATEVA THE DECISION

I too have mix feeling about this…I mean, it’s a great idea in the future to be independant of course! But maybe just not right now since he is still branching out into the American market. Perhaps, a year or two after his debut won’t be so bad. I’m sure he and JYP will remain good friends. I think people like JYP can also respect what’s best for Rain.
