Isn’t it common to set up a website and google the translation for the movie title, just to make sure that it’s not associated with something undesirable? Well, the thoughtful translators for Lee Joongi’s next movie, Virgin Snow forgot about our godly search tool google and well, the internet altogether. If you google Virgin Snow, the first 20 results are ski resorts, hair dyes and Jang Nara’s favorite naughty movies. But other than this very minor detail, Virgin Snow is anticipated to break box office records. It’ll open in May, during the “gold week” – the longest holiday season in Japan. The movie is about a Korean high school student named Min (Lee Joongi) falling in love with a Japanese girl named Naname (Miyazaki), which sounds like any other romance movie, but fans are still excited to see Lee Joongi back on the big screen. But if you can’t wait until May to see your favorite pretty boy, you can fly to Osaka, Japan this weekend to attend Lee Joongi’s fan club meeting on the 10th.
