Am I the only one getting sick and tired of Rain’s concert tag line “It’s Raining”? I’ve read, heard and wrote that tag line a million times that I’m already getting bored of covering his concerts. Other than regurgitating his tag line (for about a hundredth time) and posting his picture, there’s nothing interesting we can say about Rain in Vietnam.
Rain auctioned away his clothes, took pictures with the winners and held a press conference with 100 or so reporters. Oh yeah, it also rained before his concert – but when did rain in Vietnam become headline news?
Goody toshoes Rain needs to get out more when he’s on tour. If he wants to relate to his fans in various countries, he should at least check out the night scene and hang out with the locals, instead of locking himself up in his posh hotel room between his concerts until he flies back to Korea.

if rain wants to become a world pop star, i think that he needs to learn a thing or two about the countries he visits by experiencing it
But he did get out. He checked out the restaurants one night before the concert (and got mobbed by the fans). And he always eats at a Korean restaurant in the country that he’s in. There usually is an after-party when his concert’s done, and it’s held at some club together with his staff.
He needs his privacy ….

that’s ridiculous. he’s not on vacation. he’s working! and those concerts are tiring-plus, he’s super professional. he’s there to give a concert-that’s his job. he’s not there to relax and check out the local scene. what a ridiculous commentary.

That’s not true. Rain went clubbing after his concert in Beijing in October of 2005 when I went to watch his concert. I heard he got his groooove on in the club!
