I’ve seen many ajummas go nuts over stars, but this is the first time I saw a 75 year old Granny go all out to meet her favorite star. This sweet 75 year old Grandma from Korea travelled all the way to Vietnam to see Rain’s concert on March 10th & 11th. Talk about dedication – she out-beats you Rain fans out there by a long shot!
She has been Rain’s fan ever since she met him for the first time at a Girl Scouts convention five years ago. Rain was the spokesperson for Girl Scouts and he played a major role in recruiting new Girl Scouts. I’m not sure why they asked Rain to be their spokesperson but ever since then, she’s been his loyal fan, following his career and apparently to other countries. In an interview, she told the reporter that she loves watching Rain perform on stage because it makes her feel young again. She also exercises and travels regularly to maintain the excitement in her life.
Rain fans, if you want to reclaim your position as Rain’s #1 fan, this is what you need to do. First, ride Rain’s plane to his next concert destination. Then, attend all of his concerts in that country. After you’ve completed this, do something additional and exceptional to beat her. Until then, none of you are allowed to call yourselves Rain’s best fan. Haha, just kidding, but please give your rounds of applause for our new favorite Granny.
