I regret to inform you that Korea’s #1 drag, aka Bada will become the face of Seoul. Officials at City of Seoul must have had too much soju the night before because nobody in their right mind would appoint Bada as their spokesperson and expect positive results. The woman can sing and dance, but she’s not that pretty - at least not pretty enough to have her pictures plastered all over Seoul. Gosh, just thinking about it gives me the creeps.
I think this is the perfect time to start worrying about Korea’s image among foreigners. With Ha Ri-Soo’s marriage, rise of pretty boys in dresses, Bi (do we need an explanation?) and Bada as Seoul’s spokesperson, foreigners might perceive us as a sexually confused nation, thus attracting um…unconventional tourists. Is this what you want Governor Lee, especially before your presidential race?

To me Bada isn’t ugly I mean even if she was pretty or ugly people would still find ways to bitch about the way she looks. First, nothing is wrong with Bada. Two, pretty boys are the rage in many societies. Third, there is nothing wrong with a guy in a dress. It means he’s comfortable with his sexuality. Fourth, Harisu is a TRANSSEXUAL. She was born in the wrong body…literally. Fifth, none of these things means “sexually confused” (ESPECIALLY not Harisu. She has a disorder.) and only an ignorant person like you would assume Korea is such a nation. Other nations have transgendered people or people who go beyond gender borders and there is nothing wrong with that. How about you educate yourself instead of spitting out ignorant comments and offending people?
i noticed that a lot of your posts on bada is negative. i mean, what is wrong with you? as a writer you should not write things when you are biased. and another thing is that, just because this is your space to write, doesnt mean that you can write just about anything you want.
bada is pretty and talented. she has a great voice and is also a very good dancer. i dont know why you keep critisizing her looks and all when all it matters is that she is being loved by netizens out there.
i just find it irritating when people keep putting down other people when they themselves are no better. post a picture of yourself, a video of you dancing and also a file of you singing. i dare to bet that you cannot be even compared to william hung.
outer beauty is important, but put into first place is still who you are inside. people dont care about how others look like. look at all the famous gagmans, they dont exactly have the looks, but they have the personality and that is what earned them their fans.
