Big Bang member Dae Sung dropped out of high school to dedicate all his time to music and he’s planning to take “Gum Jung Go Si” (Korean GEDs) to apply to colleges in the future. He’s also burning the midnight oil these days cramming Japanese with other Big Bang members, excluding Tae Yang to prepare for their crossover to Japan.
YG is aggressively shipping his artists overseas – Se7en to the states and Big Bang to Japan, but I feel that their debuts are a bit rushed and unprepared. Debuting in a different country is more than hooking up with famous producers, building buzz among the fans and learning the language. It’s about learning about the country’s culture and finding your own voice that will appeal to local fans, which is why only a few stars have been successful with their crossover careers. But it seems like all YG is doing these days is building sky high expectations for Se7en’s US debut. I really wonder what would happen if Se7en were to fail in US.

Aww I love Daesung ~ I think is still a great opportunity for him anyways…you can always go to school…you can’t always make an album. I’m not too sure about Se7en in the US…his leaked single wasn’t too impressive…
i heard they were remakingse7en’s debut single (I’m not 100% sure) so hopefully it will better =D
