Isn’t it odd that sexy star Lee Hyori and Ivy are confessing their high school crushes on Tony even though he has put on some weight and declined in popularity? Well, not if you know that Tony is a successful business man with three different ventures, including entertainment management company, school uniform clothing line and the latest being lauching langerie brand called “shinenihs.”
Why a langerie brand? That’s the question we are all asking, but celeb launching langerie brands has become so common in Korea that nobody thinks twice about it anymore. County Ko Ko’s ex member Tak Jae Hoon, Byun Jung Su and Hwang Shin Eh are already in the langerie business, trying to become Korea’s Victoria Secret.
But why didn’t Ivy & Lee Hyori attend the launching show? Were they too embarrassed to attend or are they just interested in his fat wallet? What do ya think?

Ummm… because I know some of the people you are talking about, I want to add my 2 cents. First Tony has been well off with his management company for quite a long time, Hyori declared her crush on him. And Tak Jae Hoon is just the president of DKNY lingerie, he is neither the guy that started or developed the idea, nor is he the owner of the company. I know they made him a big deal at the DKNY launch party/fashion show, but he was brought in to bring attention for the company.

..hmm perhaps.. but both ladies are already very successful (and rich) w/ their careers.. of course its always nice to know that you have someone to support you (financially too)..

tony’s adorable. i don’t get the korean culture (i may be wrong) but it seems like people in their late 20s are considered “so old” and women who turn 30 is considered ahjummas or something. i think 30 is a great start for people and i don’t think tony is old at all, he looks in good shape. my teacher once says women looks their best when they turn 30. i mean, if we look at the hk entertainment circle, women who are 40 are presented as elegant and beautiful, not an hold hag.
and just to clarify, i’m really into the korean culture, i’m not racist. it’s just different people share different opinions in different categories. =D
