Due to the recent car accident and Kyu Hyun’s serious condition, SM announced that Super Junior will discontinue all promotional activities as of April 21, 2007. Super Junior members also added that it is very difficult and inappropriate for them to smile on stage while some of their members are suffering in the hospital.
Kyu Hyun’s doctors are optimistic about his recovery, but they stated that the speed of his recovery will depend on how fast the bruises on his lungs heel. Luckily, he did not suffer from internal bleeding, but the broken ribs crushed his lungs causing it to bruise.
This is actually the first time Super Junior is taking an official break since their debut in 2005 - some released albums, some launched their acting careers, some DJed, MCed and some appeared on variety shows. Although they are taking a break because of an unfortunate event, I’m glad that they are finally taking some time off.

I’m gonna miss them being on stage for a while, but they deserve the break. I hope Kyu Hyun gets better soon… I remember just a couple days ago, I was watching TV and Lee Teuk was saying “Album two will be coming soon, and you’ll us on stage more often…” When I read about Super Junior’s accident, I remembered what he said and I almost burst out crying. I hope to see Super Junior again…

I think the general welfare of the group is more important than the Hollywood Bowl, actually. If they don’t go, they don’t go. There’s 16 other artists and groups that will be there to make up for it if they don’t come :/ We’ll see when the time comes.

they deserve a rest its just sad they only get a rest when something bad lime this happened… yeh they have to promote and are wanted evrywhere but they are human beings….but thank god they are resting!!

Too much work causes stress…This is the time that they can relax and enjoy their life like normal people do…I’m really happy that Kyuhyun is improving.It’s speaks a lot.By the way, Suju already has a lot of fans here in the Phils. We’re all praying for Kyuhyun’s quick recovery.

I just read on this other news that they wont start till july and that super junior is going their seperate ways their leaving kyu hyun and some members out. teuk, kibum, heechul, donghae , and others (not known) are also forming a new group called ” Seohoo 5 ” it is also said that two members of super junior are starring in a new drama together called ” A Rose For U ”

uhm, if you go to this myspace…and listen to the song “KNOCKOUT” it’s SUPER JUNIOR’s song…but in ENGLISH!!! mmmm but didn’t SUJU release “twins” in 2005? and if they formally released it in 2005, then they MUST have been drafting the lyrics/music from late 2004 to early 2005. Triple 8 released “knockout” in 2006 [i think i read that somewhere, and it makes sense].
Also, as a new band, suju and SM would NOT risk copying someone else’s song because it would tarnish their rep if word got out. This would cause suju’s staring career to plummet before it even took off. And because SUJU is more popular than Triple 8, the word of a scandal would have been released to the press fairly quickly…look at LEE HYORI and that Britney Spears scandal.
In addition, the style of music is a distinct korean pop-tune, with the whole techno effects and such…triple 8 is BRITISH and the music is SO NOT the british rock/pop style Triple 8 labeled themselves as…
