Who stole Jun Ji Hyun’s hat?

0427-who-stole-jun-ji-hyuns-hat3.jpg

Man, these Chinese fans are wild! Some fanatic grabbed Jun Ji Hyun’s baseball cap right off her head at Shanghai Airport, surprising the soon-to-be Hollywood star. This is the second time I saw Chinese fans go wild at the airport and I can’t help but to wonder if this is normal in China. Do fans in China go crazy when they see other Chinese celebs or are they over-reacting when they see Korean stars? I’m very curious. Also, if any of you see Jun Ji Hyun’s baseball cap on sale on e-bay or any other on-line auction site, please let me know. If it sells for anything above $1000, I’ll be the one grabbing the hat off her head next time.

Oh my god, she looked scared! :(

Is it just me, but I never wanted to mob a celebrity? Honestly, they are just regular people who show up in our TV once in awhile.

I don’t get it. Leave them alone for golly sakes…crazy people!!

What was frightening about that scene was the lack of
security. How can you have only one person. I’m embarrassed
to admit that Chinese fans in China are an unruly bunch.
Thats why even Chinese actors or singers they hate going
thru public places unless there is an area that is cornered
    off.

dont blame the celeb. blame the fans. fans are getting crazed and mobbish these days.. aigoo! yes theyre normal people too, why the commotion.. some fans are really getting so overhyped.. tsk.

I think there are fans like that everywhere lol. I guess they’re over reacting a bit because they don’t get many chances to see a Korean star up close.

Aish.. I had hoped I wouldn’t see another report on Chinese fans after that last Dong Hae report (poor guy..).

I’m Chinese myself and reading reports like these kind of make me want to duck my head. Of all things, stealing clothing articles off people in broad daylight like a common pickpocket.

Sometimes I think it’s not even a fan but a thief who just sneaks into the screaming crowd knowing that the celebrity is famous then, selling the item off the internet at a high price giving disgrace to fans. Tsk.

But there are sane fans too. Just a little embarrassing how others will soon start to generalize. I hope events like these won’t discourage stars from visiting China anytime soon.

Fans in China go crazy over Chinese celebs in the airport ALL OF THE TIME. It’s so annoying.

But the paparazzi are the worst. They chase celebs with their cars. And they sneak behind a tree or something next to a celeb’s home and snap private pics. Pretty scary if you imagine it. It seems like they’re desperate to publish something interesting in magazines and stuff so they could get some money.

I get really embarassed sometimes when I see these incidents on the Chinese or Taiwanese newspaper :P

I’m from hong kong, although HK is part of china now, i’d have to say that people in China are wild, or rude most of the time, they don’t think the same themselves though.. they just grab and bump a lot, but they are nice ppl indeed.

This news also appeared in one of the Chinese websites. Jun Juhyun seemed not have enough international style, she has a long way to go. If Tom Cruise or other Hollywood stars face such crowded situation, they would simply smile, not to show ppl a scared face

Suppose she is not a well-known Korea celeb in China, she would not bring ppl’s attention at all. Like many big stars in Korea, have less popularity in China. People would not bother to even ask for the autograph.

Poor Ji-Hyun. I myself, am a Chinese Malaysian, and I must say, fans in China really go wild! Let’s just say, whoever who put JJH’s hat on E-Bay is gonna get a ton of money. I would pay $$ for her hat. ^^
