Unlike his name, the small eyed pop star Rain’s life is filled with sunny events these days. He was nominated for the Time’s 100 Most Influential people and he made it on the People Magazine’s World’s Most Beautiful People list, which earned him the main news spot on Yahoo! Canada. What an accomplishment at 25!
His World Tour seems to be running just as fine – although Australian press were a little skeptical about his influence in the kangaroo nation. But because of his grand tour, nobody really knows what he intends to do when his contract with JYP is over in May – but this seems to be the talk of the town. There are many possibilities and many are fighting over him, especially with the recent accomplishments and his impact on stock prices.
Since Rain didn’t say anything, anything anybody says are guesses so here’s mine. A part of me thinks that he might stay with JYP, because he doesn’t seem like the person to hop around looking for the best deals but another part of me thinks that he might create his own company because he wants to become a successful businessman in the future. What do ya think? Will he stay with JYP or will he create his own company or will he go to another company?

If JYP left the company himself, there’d be little incentive for him to stay on, except for loyalty.
I’m a bit offended by the whole “kangaroo nation” thing… well not offended, but STILL! you don’t even see kangaroos in Australia unless your at the zoo or in the outback!
Oh and your idea that he’d create his own company sounds like a reasonable suggestion. Lots of musicians are doing that now rite?

He didn’t seem to make such a big splash (excuse the bad pun) when he was here. There were just articles about how “Rain” was coming to drought stricken Australia. And talk about excess with playing on the fact that his name was Rain.
I reckon he’d play the businessman role quite well. What he’s achieved so far is a great launch pad.

a lot of hallyu stars – such as bae yong jun, lee young ae, lee byung hyun, etc already created their own management companies and since rain is in the same “hallyu star” boat, that’s a possibility

it seems a resonable idea fopr him have his own comapny cos it will increase his status and for him and others its a nice thing to achieve at such a young age

Kinda surprising that people turned him down at the beginning of his career because he didn’t have the right look. I think he looks great….he has that puppy dog face that makes your heart melt.

After all the effort he puts into his work and of course, maintaining his looks, I think he deserves it. As for JYP, I can’t really say if he will stay with the company or manage his own (which seems more logical from my POV) but since it was JYP who nurtured him from the very beginning, most likely he will stay with them.

certainly, people who voted for him are his fans. And we all know what type of fans he has…all mindless teenager girls and people who don’t know what real music/talent is. His music is so mindless. Bi’s talent is very ordinary. So many artists can dance like he does or even better. He’s also not the most hardworker for his music. Other artists also work hard for their career as well. connection with the right people to bring him into fame that is all he’s got. maybe he would do some charity event once in awhile to gain people’s sympathy. I don’t know why the airline company chose him to have his picture on the airplane. Ridiculous.
