He started out his career with various CFs and now he’s debuting as a supporting actor in highly anticipated drama Air City, starring Choi Ji Woo and Lee Jung Jae.
Hopefully his acting career will exceed that of Kim Tae Hee’s, but even if it doesn’t, it’s okay because he has the looks and the smarts to win over the nation just like his sunbae. Good luck in Air City!
I read your article and you say that Kim Tae Hee has a “disappointing acting”. I was very surprised to read that. I saw so many dramas where she she plays and she is absolutely credible and wonderful, controling her emotions so well. And many people do think the same about her..may i ask you why do you think she is not good?

I said that Kim Tae Hee’s acting career was disappointing because her recent dramas had relatively low tv ratings and her latest movie flopped. With her looks, popularity and abilities, she should be starring in top dramas and movies, not mediocre ones, so in my opinion, her acting career is pretty disappointing so far. Maybe she’ll prove me wrong with her new movie, but we’ll have to wait and see…

I really have no idea why Kim Tae Hee is loved by all…maybe it’s just me but I didn’t find any of her dramas good at all ~ I couldn’t sit through Love Story in Harvard…maybe because of the horrible English but I do agree that Kim Tae Hee is quite popular. Maybe this guy will do better? He doesn’t look that good to me tho -__-;;
i agree, i dont understand why kim tae hee is so popular either. she is pretty and smart but her acting and dramas are bad and her personality somewhat annoys me
OMG! I thought I was the only one that felt that way about Kim Tae Hee. She is pretty but she always give the same look when she acts. Plus, when I watch her dramas I can’t help but stare at her teeth. They’re so big and fake looking. Don’t know if they are.

kim tae hee, i think is not that veteran yet in acting, altho I think she has improved in ‘the restless’ altho it flopped.. she has to take up on more challenging roles, and I think as an antagonist wouldnt be bad. I just loved her in stairways of heaven, being a mean girl, i think suits her best. anyway goodluck to lee sang yoon~ i cant wait for aircity ^^

Though I think that being intelligent and going to a great school is very impressive, I think it’s kind of stupid how much emphasis Koreans put on it… in their entertainers. Like, the smarter they are (Oh, I was class president, I was #1 in my class, etc.), the more recognition and fandom they garner. If you’re smart AND realllly talented, like, heck yeah! Awesome! But, like you said, Kim Taehee is far from being world’s greatest actress, yeah? (Ugh, especially in stairway to heaven, all she did was glare.) Anyway… I hope this guy is really talented. And if not, people will love him anyway because he goes to seoulU.

but as much as i do agree that the main outline why kim tae hee is so loved is cause of her looks & her smarts, i don’t know, i don’t think that would be enough to sustain her popularity nor doesn’t explain why the fans keep coming back for more. sure, her acting isn’t top notch yet but i believe the efforts can be seen, as long as she wants to keep pushing herself, i wish her all the best. besides, i think the fans also love her for her personality & how frank she can be or how she handles herself in interviews. kim tae hee herself feels a load with the snu tag actually though it did help her somewhat as well.

I love the way she uses her eyes to express her emotions…could be sharp as a razor and soft as a talc…Her being very pretty with brain is an added bonus for me to like her more.
