Yes, it’s real. If you aren’t already aware, ppl in Korea are obsessed about noses, including me. My little button nose is no match for new singer Min Hyo-rin’s (22) high acquiline one. Her nose has been labelled by the press as “luxury” (trans: 명품코), which means that she basically has a western nose. And this is the standard for which all women eyeing nose surgery want.
Min Hyo-rin made her singing debut at BEXCO in Busan at the M Superconcert on the 11th.
I have no such obsession with noses lol…but I don’t know ~ the more I look at it…the more it looks weird. Maybe it’s me, I never look at people’s noses haha. So if I look at one for a long time ~ looks weird…-__-;;
I think that Han Ga-in’s nose is perfect!
why can’t people just be happy with what they’ve got? what’s the need for plastic surgery??
I have say she’s got a very nice nose, but she’s not as pretty as Han Ga-in
hehe I don’t have such nose obssesions, although I’ve got a pretty good one hehe The net has made me realize how ppl in general, really obsess over their noses.

her nose in the first pic does look a little pointy and unnatural but in the other photos her nose looks just fine. So i guess it depends on the angle.
Chae Yeon will always have the best/cutest nose in my opinion.
I would say the nose of Park Soojin of Sugar is the best, imo. Its cute, natural, and has a birthmark right in the middle :p

Haha! This reminds me of the time when I was in Korea, my aunt asked if she could touch my nose. She said she’d be able to tell if I’d gotten a nose job or not! Basically, she says that if the nose is, I guess you can say, flexible, then it’s real. If it’s rigid and not-so-flexible, then it’s fake. Suffice it to say, mine’s real. But, dude, I was SO weirded out. I didn’t understand what was up with the fascination with my nose!
Her nose doesn’t match w/ her face. not proportional. White people fix their noses too. People just obsess with plastic surgery and their looks period.

i don’t understand how some ppl over here have grand obsession with noses - so much that it has turned into “who has the most luxurious nose”. it’s humorous… i know the plastic surgeons are happy about it, though.
where does this obsession come from? do some koreans subconsciously compare their noses to white ppl’s noses?
Maybe it’s just me, and I’m guilty of it too since I am born and raised here in the U.S., but Korean people really need to get over this whole “Western” obsession.
Not everything that is “Western” or “European” is good and I don’t know why people are jumping all over themselves to get features that are CLEARLY not in line with their ethnic background. Be proud of that squat Korean nose! Geez.
I agree……. I adore the way asians look in general!!! A large group of people with many looks but all so wonderful!!

In our “western” culture we have lost this basic rule!!!
for decades the American media has promoted the western standard of beauty worldwide. I think if more of us asians accepted the fact that our natural facial features are just as beautiful, then this obsession with trying to look caucasian will decrease….On the other hand, I don’t look down on anyone who gets cosmetic surgery. If it makes them feel better about themselves - then more power to them..
imo korean women are naturally beautiful without plastic surgery…
I personally find cute, small, but a-tad-pointy noses much more appealing than a nose as prominent and as straight as hers.
Newbie, even fake noses are made flexible these days so your aunt is wrong. I’ve seen this show where they showed how flexible fake noses can be just like real ones.

Hmm…Don’t care too much about her nose. Everyone is pretty in their own way. She’s a singer not a model in this picture so you should just judge her singing first. She’s cute anyway. We can’t all look like Barbie Dolls or Jessica SImpson.

It doesn’t look like a western nose to me… it looks like a plastic one! I think those small, cute button noses are much more attractive on Asian women.

as someone who is paying thousands of dollars to study the bio-sciences and such, myself and the surgeon i’ve been interning for for two years can tell you that she’s had her nose broken in with some hyalouronic-botox based injection fillers. megan fox from transformers fame recently had it done too.
um her nose is DEFINITELY fake. can’t you tell? its not even possible for asians to have noses like that.

ahaha…anything that’s natural is BEAUTIFUL….Ugly is the new beautiful..=) well,i think han ga in nose is very nice n pretty too…wat i know is that korean actress like to go under the knife for plastic surgery..wat i find very weird is that most of the male actors have single eyelid but for female actress, they have double eyelids…isnt that weird…this makes me come to a conclusion that most female actress went for plastic surgery to make their eyes look big n have double layer..haha…=)

I seriously have her nose! I HATE it!!! I’m going to south korea in a few years to visit my husbands korean family, and I’m plaining on traiding it in for a flatter one. I’ll have to find a someone who’ll do it, and do it right, and i think korean doctors are good at it. I would gladly trade my nose in for a cute “botton” nose anyday, the high nose is my not what I consider beautiful, and I really don’t think she’s that pretty with that “luxery” nose. I wish I had my mother little nose, but no… I got my fathers nose. It’s just to funny how my nose looks like hers, I always got teased for it, and she is praised for it! I wish I could post a picture up to compare~ ^^ lol
