Last week, feeling a bit blue, I impulsively went to get my hair cut by a new hairstylist. Big mistake- I now have popstar wannabe, Sei’s long mullet hair- short on top & sides, long at the bottom. The style is known as the “wolfcut” here in Korea, but it’s just another way of referring to the ugly but popular hairstyle worn by heavy metal groupies and hockey players from the 80’s. I am neither a rockstar or hockey player, so I am dying and don’t know what to do with my hair other than wear a brown bag over my head for the next 3 months until it grows out. But, after finding out that sexy diva, Lee Hyori and super popstar, Boa once went through the mullet stage back in 2005, I feel slightly better. And maybe, to bring out my inner rockstar, I should get a KISS shirt just like Hyori. Nah. I think I will just wear the paper bag instead.*

I love the whole rocker mullet thing…especially when Bada did that thing..it was hot.
I got this cut. Pointed to a girl whose bangs I liked in a Japanese magazine and the hairdresser gave me the whole mullet cut she had. Three months later my hair still looks fug and my mom is begging me to cut it short (I spent three years growing it out
). Boo. White girls just can’t pull off the J girl mullet.

aww i know how you feel cuz that was what had happened to me xD i had wanted my hair cut to be cut like zhang li yin or jang ri in and so when i went there to get my hair cut, she had cut it like the mullet with a lot of shaggy layers and its was horrible!! i was felt so blah >.
well luckly, i solved it by tying my hair up into a ponytail, either all up or half up and half down, and now im just waiting for it to grow out xD dont worry, you’re not the only one with a hair malfuntion xp hang in there!! :]
Well I dont know, but I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this hairstyle especially on BOA. It makes you stand out and It gives that really ´´dont mess with me´´ attitude.

LOL.. I got this haircut too.. not intentionally. Really regret telling my hairstylist to do whatever he thinks is best.-_- Now I have my hair pulled up till it grows out. :p Actually I think this will work if you’re a celebrity and you have a hairstylist with you 24/7. But for a mere mortal like me, it just looks bAAAd. :p

boa’s cut was a shag not a mullet. and if sei’s was shorted it would be one as well. its a very slight difference
