Another celeb suicide plagues the entertainment industry

0530-yuh-jae-gu.jpg

Oh no, not again! Supporting actor Yuh Jae Go (37) ended his own life in his backyard and was later found by his friend yesterday. It’s not even June and we’ve reported three suicides already. What happened to the golden pig year filled with fortunes and luck? And what happened to depression prevention plans announced by management companies when U-nee and Jung Da Bin left us all suddenly? Depression is detectable and curable, so please, somebody come up with a better plan so we do not have to report another tragedy. Rest in peace Yuh Jae Go.

    i should be a psychic.

Man that’s terrible! I mean how matter how many managers he had to sleep with, he shouldn’t have resorted to suicide!!!

What’s up with Koreans & suicide?
Why ‘give up’ so easily? This is depressing to hear.
And not to be rude & mention it(sorry if I offend anyone)but – that Virginia Tech student killed many AND killed himself, too.
Come on, people… Don’t give up! Let God be the one to decide! Suicide is sinful.

Depression prevention plans provided by management companies won’t change anything. To commit suicide, one must be insane. That person should be the one seeking for help if he/she really wants to live a better life.

he wasn’t married and he lived with his mom – i’m sure that she’s taking it very hard, but her exact condition hasn’t been reported yet

personally, it is really hard for me to understand why suicide rate is high in Korea because Koreans strongly believe in the virtue of persistence and it’s so ingrained in the culture – the only reason I could think of was perhaps these depressed patients did not receive the right treatment for depression because it’s socially undesirable..but I’m not an expert on this subject, so please don’t quote me on it

my heart goes out to his family…rest in peace Yuh Jae Go

Lord…RIP. this has been a horrible year.

because Koreans strongly believe in the virtue of persistence and it’s so ingrained in the culture

that may be a reason. depressed people often feel they shouldn’t “give in” by getting help – that they’re not really sick, they just need to suck it up.
This is awful to hear :[ I hope the management companies realy get together to figure something out on this one.

  23. 23 ed June 1, 2007 at 11:52 am

very sad news…RIP Mr. Yuh. would management companies care as much about mental health of supporting players, as they do the stars popular with teens? hope so.
