Who got Kang Dong Won in trouble?

One attention deprived TA at Han Yang University asked Kang Dong Won for his signature on a blank test booklet at the end of the exam, scanned it and uploaded on various sites misleading a lot of people into thinking that Kang Dong Won passed the exam by just submitting his signature. On top of this, the TA bragged that he/she (gender unknown - but I wouldn’t be surprised either way) gave a “special” tutor session to the top actor - hinting that Kang Dong Won received some form of help before the exam. What a great way to bash a hard-working student!

Anyways, Kang Dong Won acted quickly to end these endless acquisitions and hateful rumors by writing his side of the story on his website. According to our hottie, he took the exam and he visited the TA before the exam to ask him some last minute questions. As you can see, one sad attention deprived TA wanted to get his/her 10 sec of fame by riding his students fame and look where it got him/her. No where!

Luckily Kang Dong Won already graduated from Han Yang University to get away from his obsessed fan disguised as a TA and enrolled at Sung Myung Graduate School. He’s currently taking a break here in the states before he starts his move M promotion in the near future.

this is pathetic! That person should be ashamed. I wish her/his name was revealed so that he/she gets fired!

What happened to the TA? He should be fired and blacklisted.

By the way, Popseoul, is there a reason why you rarely provide links? I know you provide a good overview/commentary of the subjects in question (often bolstered with a rather enjoyable, humorous, and even cute prose style), but sometimes getting to the original source article is necessary

Gaek & huncamunca218, we haven’t been siting our sources because we gather information from more than one source and because most of them are Korean sources, but your point was well taken and we’ll think about this issue again and try to come up with a better solution

From the name that KDW furnish the siggie to, it sounds like a guy’s name….. (i.e. JoGyo-nim). But I dunno if it’s an androgynous name…. haha. So, high chance that the TA is a guy? heheh.

this is bull~ as I have said before… I think korean fans are extreme.. fans and anti-fans alike.. oh well.
am not korean but i do go to daum,naver, nate and most of the news there goes here too and its in english language and it helps a lot since am not too fluent ^^

Hi PopSeoul. I’m not Korean but I lived in Seoul for a year and am studying the language and researching Korean popular music. (I’m a grad student and hoping to return to Seoul in the next few years). At this point, I can sort of read the articles in Korean and my langauage level is improving (working through these kinds of articles helps). In any case, it would be really nice to have links to the original articles. Would that be very difficult? I know of a couple of waeguk blogs that always provide links to their sources, whether they’re in Korean or in English.
