These two might have the clearest skin ever, but they are not over 160cm and we’ll show you why.
Let’s start our height calculation by taking Yu Ji Tae and Jung Woo Sung’s height of 186 cm as our starting point. Song and Kim look at least a head or two shorter than their male co-stars and celebs are known to have small faces, so we’ll subtract roughly around 20 cm. So Song and Kim is about 166 cm tall with their heels on.
Then if you subtract the height of their heels which usually ranges anywhere from 7cm to 10cm, Song Hye Kyo and Kim Tae Hee are around 156-159cm tall - not over 160cm! Keep in mind that our calculations were based on very conservative estimations. If you take a look at other height calculation works, they turn out to be a lot shorter.
Based on this work by one savvy Korean netizen, Kim Tae Hee is around 155cm even with her 7 cm heels on!
Based on this picture, Song Hye Kyo and comedian Song Eun-i are the same height and Song Eun-i is 155cm tall.
We know that it’s very common add a couple of centimeters to celeb’s height and subtract a couple of kilograms from their weight, but don’t over-do it to the point that the discrepancy is so obvious.

I am sure some of these tall women are indeed that light, but I doubt all of them are THAT light. For instance, I know some dongsengs who are tiny and have 21-22 inch waists, but they still weigh more than 100 pounds while being much shorter (like in the 5-3 and 5-4 range). So what gives?

I am 160cm (5 feet 3 inches) exactly. Kim Tae Hee according to her height as mentioned above on her official website is 164cm (that is about 5 feet 4 half inches or so). 1 inch= 2.54cm. My dad who is 186cm (6 feet 3 inches). Yes, i should of drank more milk or something, but my mom is even shorter than me and my brother happens to be 6 ft.
So i may be an inch shorter than what she claims. When i wear 3 or four inches and stand next to my dad, i appear to be just as tall as Tae Hee looks in that picture above where she is standing next to JWS. If she fibbed about her height, she may be just an inch or so shorter, i don’t think she is 156-159 as estimated above.

If you measure the heel of most guys shoes, especially the formal leather shoes, they have a mild heel plus leather sole sole, it adds approximate 5cm to their eight. Sport shoes only 3cm?

I’d just like to point out that wearing 7cm heels does not mean you gain 7cm in height. I don’t quite remember how to explain it properly, but the center of gravity is roughly in the middle of your foot, and that’s where height is measured, so whatever height your foot is there, is how much added height you will have, or something like that anyway! Basically, you will get roughly half of the heel height in terms of actual height, so 10cm heels will give you like 5cm height.
