The gorgeous Honey Lee (24) received a warm reception on her return home last week. However, the same situation cannot be said for her departure from Mexico where not a single soul (ok, perhaps a slight exaggeration) was there to say goodbye to the stunning 3rd runner up when she left for Korea. Back in Korea and looking oh so hot in faded jeans and a simple white jacket, she thanked her Korean fans for their support (yeah, that includes us!) at a press conference upon her arrival.
Honey Lee is currently a graduate student of traditional music (Kayageum).

what a lovely face Honey has, a true Korean beauty, with great symmetry. She has the talent and potential to be a big star in Korea, whether its in music or in acting. Unlike some of the past Miss Koreas who did a few talk shows then dropped out sight. Hopefully, Honey can use the pageant as a springboard to achieve bigger and better things.
Without the heavy make-up, she looks so sweet and natural. It’s ok – Honey doesn’t need a crown to tell the world she’s beautiful!

And I’ve read in the official Miss Universe site that minor plastic surgery is acceptable for any contestant. In my opinion, Lee Ha-ni was PRETTY before, yes she could still qualify for any beauty contest,but after the procedure, i could really say she’s DROP DEAD GORGEOUS.
i’m no plastic surgery expert but from old pix to current, it can be deduced that she did NOT have surgery. she lost serious baby fat. speaking from personal experience, i was overweight in high school and i lost nearly 60 pounds (230lbs to 170lbs)… needless to say, my face changed shape, my nose was more pronounced and my eyes got naturally bigger since there is less fat around the eye socket. it seems like she worked hard to lose weight and she’s found a makeup style that accentuates her features. she also has very rare facial features for an asian woman, making her look non-korean. she has fuller lips, narrow and longer nose bridge (which is clearly apparent in her younger pictures too) and high cheek bones; song hyegyo has similar features as well. losing fat did her wonders. i think she’s gorgeous and whoever the next miss korea is has huge shoes to fill in terms of talent, accomplishments, and beauty. along with that, honey is she’s also 5′9″, tanned, and fit (which is appealing to most people around the world), instead of the pasty leather-on-bones look koreans favor. she wasn’t “manufactured”. she was a breath of fresh air and it may be another 20 years before another miss korea matches her accomplishments…
