In this 1970s inspired Jun Ji Hyun gets in trouble for wearing minis that are too long. Of course Korean policemen don’t go around measuring ladies minis anymore, but way back in the days they were armed with 30cm rulers and ticketed those naughty women who’s minis were higher than 30 cm from their knees. They were also loaded with a pair of scissors in chase down guys with long hairs. So even if you wanted to, you couldn’t be a real hippie in Korea.
Although this ad is creating a lot of buzz, there’s nothing much more to be said about Jun Ji Hyun other than that she looks cute in her 70s getup since this ad is solely designed to open your wallets so you can purchase Anycall’s “Miniskirt” phone. Don’t you just love how Koreans name cell phones after food (chocolate & banana) and pieces of clothing?
