Despite my initial disappointment with Air City, I continued to follow the drama, in hopes that it’ll redeem itself, but chances of that are proving to be slim as Air City’s rival Bad Couple is gaining more lead in the tv rating game (Bad Couple: 11.8% vs. Air City: 10.8%). Bad Couple, starring Shin Eun Kyoung and Ryu Su Young is about a career woman wanting to become a “miss mom” or an unmarried woman that want to have a child without the hangups of marriage. To become a Miss Mom, Kim Dang Ja (Shing Eun Kyung) tries to seduce Choi Ki Chan (Ryu Su Young), a professor with the best genes and Ms. Kim’s ways of achieving her goals are very funny, enough to make you burst out laughing during the episodes.
Air City was filled with lots of action and romance this weekend and Lee Sang Yoon aka male Kim Taehee finally showed his handsome face in the drama as a drug dealer and an old friend of Choi Ji Woo. This week wasn’t as torturous as last week’s, actually it was somewhat entertaining, but somebody needs to tell the casting director all of Choi Ji Woo’s friends/classmates look 10 years younger than her. Anyhow, it’s going to be an interesting battle for the weekend drama line-up.

I agree, Air City is losing momentum. It’s hard for me to watch one episode without fast forwarding it.

i’m currently watching both dramas and i’m loving it! At least Air City has a total different/interesting plot.

air city doesn’t sounds really interesting and bad couple sounds very typical
but i love both actresses so i guess i’ll give them a try
^They’re low because currently there’s one of those historical dramas airing. It’s really popular with the older generations so getting that is okay. Personally I enjoy AC a lot more than BC. AC just doesn’t have the charm and personality BC has.

just look at witch yoohee, the ratings were high but then I myself was not even satisfied with the ending. hmm, i guess ratings are misleading sometimes? anyway i should watch BC too, i love ryu su young~ ^ ^
My sisters & I love Air City very much. Like Mawee said rating are just numbers. I hope will do well in other Asian countries.
I don’t care what they said, I still love “Air City” & hoping that there are more episodes to come. It’s so different from other Korean dramas, it’s full of exciting events & action. I just love it especially Choi Ji Woo who again showed her great acting talent. She’s very lovely & sophisticated in this drama, different from her previous role, a very strong woman. I love Lee Jin Wook & Lee Jung Jae also. I think they both did great acting. Ofcourse, I like Lee Jin Wook to be Choi Ji Woo’s love interest because he’s so handsome & in his role he sacrificed a lot for the woman she love. I’ll be very disappointed if they stop “Air City” on episode 16. Please continue this drama. Thanks in anticipation of your consideration.
I still like Air City very much, this drama is different. I’m sure Air City will be success in others country. I loved Lee Jung Jae and Choi Ji Woo couple, THEY ADORABLE !!!
hmm..maybbe it’s just me..but i seem to love air city better than bad couple..i think the reason why air city has baad ratings is b/c the drama lacks the usual love angles that kdramas have..i enjoyed it maybe b/c i was not the typical kdrama..but ryt now i’m really hooked with coffee prince…love YEH’s character and gong yoo’s hotness..lol
I take Air City over Bad Couple anytime…the Bad Couple is so predictable, and so like most of the Korean dramas I have watched so far. You know what is leading to, and the of course predictable ending. On the other hand, Air City for me that is, comes out strong and totally different. I am also glad that they incorporate english, and various languages in the story lines. At least you know that they do speak english, even though with accents, but at least it is relating it to the real world. And it does reflect the place that this took place. Airports you see, hear all kinds of languages and people, and it is emphasize here. But then that is my opinion. I do believe that Air City is more acceptable “oversees” then locally. And lastly, this drama reflects how life is and that it doesn’t always have a happy ending, or always a tragedy, like most of the Kdramas.
I love “Air City” so much, I wish there’ll be more episodes to come in the very near future. It’s great because it’s so different from the other Korean dramas I saw. I love Choi Ji Woo, Lee Jung Jae & Lee Jin Wook, all great actors.
I’m sure this drama will do better internationally because it’s more believable. Also, it’s full of action & human interest. The entire casts did great job.
Air City is not that bad, for all the casts except perhaps Choi Ji Woo, it worth to have a look.
