First, she showed up with huge curls and high waisted pants at the Dream Concert red carpet moment, only to realize that she better retract to her sexy straight hair look for the performance. Then, for next month’s Cosmopolitan cover, she applied too much of her tanning lotion, making her look like a piece of burnt toast. When will Lee Hyori get her sexy back?
That first picture makes her look like Jeon Ji Hyun ~ but either way her colors aren’t too good, it does look like burnt toast.
She usually has a really nice, natural-looking tan, so why this mess? On a nicer, but obvious point, she has a rocking figure.

yea…that’s way too much tanning lotion…maybe because lately people are discouraging tanning salons, so the stars are quick to respond using tanning lotions…i’m sorry, but her look just doesn’t work for me..
I doubt Hyori had any sort of breast augmentation. Most fake boobs are overly firm, like baloons about to burst. They also have a rounded shape that are perky 24/7. Natural ones are more fluid in movement – this is what I observe with hers.
I also doubt she uses tanning creams. She not only is she naturally tan-skinned, she also sun bathes. Besides, some people prefer “burnt toast” over “plain ol’ white bread”.
I can’t quite put my finger on it, but that picture picture with the cheetah skin bikini just looks faked at many levels.
Almost has a CGI like quality to the whole thing, like it was a digital rendering, not a bona fide photograph. If the original was an old-fashioned photo and not a digital photo it might be a result of being scanned in, but even so, I’ve scanned in my share of photos and not seen anything quite like this.
For example, the placement of the body against the cityscape doesn’t look quite right – it’s just gotta be an overlay of one image on top of the other.
I dunno, just looks entirely faked to me.
And the other photo, just damn but her arms looking overly skinny, like an anorexic :O
Aside from that yeah it looks great, but I keep going back to that. I hope she’s not killing herself

Yea, her tan is darker than usual in that pic, thats because she is sun bathing, duh! Get your eyes checked, pal!…. I wonder if its just the spray-washable tanning lotion? I’m Korean and Black and I have to say she looks quite toasty. I hope she won’t add that to her usual look. I doesn’t look natural whatsoever. In general, I think tanning for everyone is just a NO NO! Your skin color is fine the way it is, but bronzer is okay hehe I use it to look glittery hahahaha for my pics

According to your statement, pale people who get tans are disgusting!….You went on futher by adding, “thats not a tan, thats black! “. What I gather from that comment is – your even more disgusted, since her dark skin resembles someone who is black. I’m sure you didn’t intend for it to be offensive, but reading it objectively, I can’t help but come to that conclusion.
For the record, contrary to what people are saying here, Hyori has a natural tan complexion. Just look at some of her childhood pics. Also she mentions in a few of her interviews the difficulties she had with teasing from other kids, since she grew up as a darker than average Korean girl.

I don’t know about you, but in America people prefer tanned skin over wan, pale, sickly and white skin. (Considering most people here are American due to everything written in the English language) Haven’t you people seen girls going to tanning salons in the dead of winter, coming out looking like freshly peeled oranges, constantly whining, “You’re so much tanner than I am! JEALOUS!” I personally think Hyori looks fine. Her unique skin tone only comes from being Asian because of the melanin. I’d definitely take bronze over being stark orange or sickeningly pale.
