hyori is becoming the j.lo of korea – overexposed. after awhile, people are just going to get tired of her. she has marginal singing skills at best and ok dance skills. her acting is horrid. but she’s proving to be a decent model. she’s gonna’ have to find a way to reinvent herself so she stays fresh in the public eye. having said that, i think hyori was cutest when finkl was singing “don’t go away”…
did she somehow lose her tan that fast?? but she is so pretty..she doesnt look like she’s modeling she looks so naturally pretty in these..has she ever has surgery?
no she didnt lose her tan, it was fake (?). hyori looks MUCH better here, a lot more natural and still has that sexy tint. im not a fan of her singing-wise, but i love her personality. plus shes gorgeous, i envy her ;]

scan it here over category ‘plastic fantastic.’ i think she’s got a regular botox? treatment, or whatever kind of fluid treatment that fills the lines. her eyes are sometimes shaded with fine wrinkles, and sometimes not. i think she’s got that as part of her regimen. botox won’t last for long. how scary. she can’t age graciously if she’s almost complete fake. well, i agree she’s gorgeous, but, it’s too temporary and bogus.

Its well known majority of korean celebs have undergone cosmetic surgery to enhance their appearance. In fact the same can be said for western celebrities, though not to the same extent. However, there are those who had little or no work done. Hyori is one of them…. Those who had extensive plastic surgery look noticeably different when you compare their before/after pics. This is not the case with Hyori, she looks the same albeit older.

flash21, has Hyori ever admitted publicly to having botox treatment? The answer is no. It is complete speculation on your part. Botox, by the way, is a toxin that is used to paralyzes the facial muscles. Patients who have this done have a noticably expressionless face. Hyori face is lively and she has a bright smile, no evidence of botox.
Perhaps she has had some very minor touch-ups done, but its nothing compared to the majority of Korean celebs who have undergone multiple surgeries that completely transformed their appearance. Compared to them Hyori is a natural beauty. So your libelous “complete fake look” remark is baseless.

how is it possible to have multiple plastic surgeries and still look the same? The purpose for having cosmetic surgery is to alter the appearance of a particular part of the body. The surgery ought to produce some obvious changes in appearance. Compare Hyori’s present pics with the pics she took before she became famous – she basically looks the same! Only older.
If you are going to smear her with the “fake” lable, then you ought to be consistant and call all Korean celebs “fakes”. Since many have admitted to having had cosmetic alterations. Don’t just single her out.
I also went thru the “plastic fantastic” archives, and I did not find any articles that back up your assertions regarding Hyori’s supposed surgeries.

flash21, I wasn’t sure if this was the article you was referring to, thats why I said before, “I couldn’t find the article”. I remember reading this a few days ago…. Are you sure you read the entire piece? And understood exactly what it was about? Cause its not about Hyori’s surgeries.
christianpete- the best type of surgery is looking like you but better. Again, it only takes a few millimeters difference between looking good and great. Hyori already has the bone structure, but she looks better than before.

popseoul, I agree…. Its one of the reasons why I said Hyori probably had some very minor touch-ups done. In your recent article about Shoo’s new face, we see an example of someone who just had major alterations to their facial features. I think flash’s “complete fake look” label would be more appropriate on Shoo than on Hyori.
