Yangpa wants to be sexy

0629-yangpa.jpg

Wearing a sheer blouse over a dress that looks like she forgot to pull out of her underwear, Miss comeback singer, Yangpa posed in such an outfit during a photoshoot in Kangnam for the upcoming “Summer Big4″ Concert with SG Wannabe, Psy and FT Island.

Granted, the woman can sing, but the outifit has got to go (as well as the fake nose). If she really wants to be sexy, get a tan, wear a micro mini and dance on a pole, like Suh In-young.

The Summer Big4 Concert with SG Wannabe, Yangpa, Psy and FT Island will be held on July 21st. The next concert with Drunken Tiger, T, Dynamic Duo and Epik High is scheduled for July 22nd at Olympic Park.

shes okey, but that nose gotta go..looks like michael jackson…wuts up wid koreans (celebs) gettin pointy nose n double eyelids these days…i jus dont understand…

i think that her skin tone is nice…iono, but im in favor of white-pale skin…i dont like the skins that have been tan…tanned skin are nice, but ill stay away from it….

oh yeah..i was wonderin…why are asians in the east becomin westernize n stuff?…i mean especially the looks…u noe the usual- tan, double eyelids, pointy nose, v shaped face etc…i noe american culture can influence some cultures, but because celebs are doin all thses things..kinda protraying that it is fine to do these things..n then bam…society is changed…now everyone is alike…they should be proud n keep their unique look…

winkooo- the opposite is wide, flat face, flat nose and no eyefolds… the asian look just doesn’t look on camera

I prefer pale/light skin as well. I dislike being tan. XD And I think she has nice, sculpted legs. O_o

“If she really wants to be sexy, get a tan, wear a micro mini and dance on a pole, like Suh In-young.”

Suh in young could be wearing only a g-string and massage oil and she still wouldn’t be sexy

dust – true- i was being sarcastic… but at the same time, don’t think yangpaz is sexy either – they are at the opposite extremes

The Asian look doesn’t “look good on camera”? That’s pretty fucked up. There was a time where slant eyes were considered beautiful in Korea, you know, before American influence. It still is (Bi for example), but beauty standards have changed because of westernization, and now you see all these Korean teens wearing hideous circle lenses taking pics at stupid angles make their eyes look huge. Girls shouldn’t have to have double eyelid surgery or a nose lift cause there’s nothing wrong with the asian look. That was a pretty ignorant statement.

the asiand look good on camera!!! I donĀ“t believe that exist people that say this things…

  9. 9 yanlin June 29, 2007 at 9:44 pm

the pieces worn separately would look good. but together? ew.

  10. 11 popseoul June 29, 2007 at 11:30 pm

michelle- it’s not a statetment, it’s a fact – the standard of beauty is based on the western one – and that is the reason why stars are getting surgery – so they can change their asian face into a more western ideal and look better on camera. A pointy nose, double lids etc just looks better. It’s not just Korea, other Asian country hold the same ideal …. HK, thailand, Philippines etc. In particular, the ideal there is pale skin and western-ish features. So please watch what you say before making such remarks. I have lived in Korea for many years and I know what it is like to be discriminated against – that my skin color is not light enough, my nose not high enough or that my face is too wide and round. I have friends in entertainment biz who feel the pressure to get a higher nose, bigger eyes…. So please excuse me for making such an “ignorant statement”

Yangpa looks like a good lay. And her supposed bitchness makes her even more alluring, LOL.

Isn’t it sad that we have to change ourselves (plastic surgery) to be considered hot/pretty/beautiful now???
I can no longer look at an Asian actresses and just say “Wow, she’s very pretty.”
Now I just say, “Hmmm, I wonder if her look is natural and had no plastic surgery?”
    So disappointing.

Plus, can you really be proud that you had to go under plastic surgery to look decent or hot? It’s like, “Yeah, look at me – I’m hot, but really I was born ‘uglier’.”

And must we always be influenced by the Westerners?
It’s too much – not only are we accepting their standards as ‘perfect’, but we are rejecting ours. We are rejecting ourselves! Our true selves!!!

haha..”the asian look dont look good on camera”…thats a hella ignorant remark..i noe it may be true for the majority, but WTF…shouldnt say that asians aint good enough for the cam.- not the same exact word, but pretti much that it wuts sayin..asians has their own beauties n it may not look as beautiful as western people, but its unique..duhh..we aint the same people..

the more plastic surgery one gets to look like western people-”white people” the more white wash they are n they loose sum of their culture…n that is a true fact..the more americanize n westernize u get, the more u loose ur culture and tradition…i mean look at the majority weddings now.. most weddings u see women n white gown n men n tux..exactly the same as white people…u may not think its a big deal, but isnt that not following ones tradition…so?…
plastic surgery will not help celebs get more popular…its not like if u have the look of a western person..then ull be known n americans will recognize u..theyll be jus laughin cause u changed so much jus to look like them..ill be laughin cause im asian american-not mixed wid white, but born n lived here all my life (FYI) n i cant believe how far they will go to have the look of a western person

    What?
A woman can’t show some leg without being accused of trying to be a stripper?
    Does somebody need counseling?

i dont get whats so bad about the outfit, except for the fold on the bottom of her dress that really does like it got stuck in her underwear. her shoes are cute.

  17. 18 Em June 30, 2007 at 11:33 am

oh gawsh~that’s just the style of her dress. And why is everyone bashing her nose?? Just about everyone in the entertainment biz got a fake nose

  18. 19 OMG! June 30, 2007 at 3:25 pm

gosh do we have an ignorant and rather naive crowd today. as i posted in another thread, my theory is that koreans have a serious complex about their looks and suffer from body dysmorphia syndrome (go ahead and google it and educate yourselves). unfortunately, the caucasian look is still the standard of beauty. asian women are considered “exotic”. the flip side is also depressing – the mass media thinks women like lucy liu are beautiful… ugh. anywayz. its not that the asian look is “ugly”. natural beauties like song hyegyo are beautiful no matter what ethnicity looks at her. but as long as the mass media is dominated by the “west”, the western look will always been the gold standard.

  19. 20 OMG! June 30, 2007 at 3:25 pm

    oh, and yangpa’s nose gotta’ go… yikes…

  20. 21 joyce July 1, 2007 at 12:54 pm

    wink0o0 – i know what you mean..
but that’s how the asian society works..
    especially in the entertainment circle..
i somewhat agree with popseoul, although being tan is okay.. a lot of countries in asia(especially in the eastern side) prefer pointy nose, double eyelids etc
its not that the asian look is ugly..
however its not really the type of beauty that many asians want to have..

    i know this first hand..
a lot of people pay tons of money just to make their noses taller

by the way.. i dont understand the term ASIAN LOOK
maybe the more correct term is ‘oriental look’

  21. 22 wink0o0 July 2, 2007 at 2:18 pm

joyce–well the term ASIAN is the same as ORIENTAL…jus that it sounds more better..another word to not being racist..ORIENTAL is a nicer way to address an ASIAN person..for example, u say AFRICAN AMERICAN instead of BLACK coz u’ll sound racist if u say black…its jus how society work..like when u say CAUCASIAN instead of WHITE….

well, i say asian all the tym coz i am asian so i dont see nothin wrong wid that, but i dont mean to offend anione when i said ASIAN…im like dis coz i dont like to use those terms..coz then ill be fake…people onli use those terms because they think that its better because it doesnt sound racist..i’m not sayin i ma, but i jus dont feel comfortable using those terms.. i like to say black, white, asian, hispanic etc..i’m sorri though..
