Hard bodied, sexy singer, Mina (36 – damn, don’t she look great?!) who was discovered at the 2002 World Cup games in Korea, has released an new hiphop/dance album, “Minatasia” in Korea and China at the same time.
However, her image for the 2 markets will be different. For China, she will maintain her sexy concept, wearing minimal clothing, whereas for Korea, she will keep the clothes on to project a more hiphop-cool look for the ultra conservative domestic fans. Yah right. Someone should wake up and smell the Chong-guk-jang because there are so many popstars out there who are going to new lows with their slutty bare-all outfits – one more won’t hurt. Besides, Mina has a fabulous athletic build, which will set her apart from the rest of the “hos”.
Mina’s first single, “Look” was recorded in 5 languages for her bid to penetrate the world market. Is that really necessary? I don’t see English-speaking popstars recording in any other language except English. Boo.

In all seriousness, Mina needs to hang it up. SHe’s been taking off her clothes and shaking her ass for about 5 years now and she’s yet to break out big. I don’t think I’ve ever met a Korean person who claims to be a fan of hers and it seems like the only time she gets any attention is when she poses in some skimpy outfit.

Huh I’ve heard of her but it doesn’t sound like she’s a very good singer…all I’ve heard about is her body. And no offense it’s a bit weird to see such a person of her age to dress that way – a bit inappropriate if you ask me….but yea I guess I’m one of those conservative people.

She wasn’t discovered at the 02 WC. It was all planned by her entertainment company. They sent her out there to grab headlines. They knew she’d get attention and it’d help with her debut. I thought that was common knowledge by now.
