Was it really necessary to group a dozen girls together to form the female version of Super Junior? I don’t think so, but obviously SM does. Rumors about Super Girls has been around for years, so in order to spark a bit more interest among potential fans, SM is marketing this new group a little differently. They are revealing the members of the group one at a time. It started out with flashing YoonA’s picture all over the net on the 6th, then Tiffany on the 7th, Yuri on the 8th and the latest addition was Hyo Yeon aka “Power Dance Queen” on the 9th.
The pictures of these girls are literally everywhere possible on the net and many are praising them for their “innocent” looks, but they all look the same to me. They are all characterized by the same oval eyes with ssang-ga-puls, long and pointy nose and the same V-lines. SM must have gotten a huge discount when they brought the Super Girls in to fine-tune their looks. Let’s see how steep their discount was as SM continues to reveal the members of this group.
*Super Girls is the fan-made name of this group. The official name hasn’t been released yet.
I’m rooting for these girls. I’m sure they’ll prove they’re all not just hype. I honestly don’t think there will be 12-13 members though. I guess we’ll have to see and find out within the next few days~

They’re pretty for korean standards but they look ordinary for filipinas…But anyways, sm trained them for years so they’d better be good at everything…
I love kpop groups, especially SM Entertainment ones (DBSK,Suju, The Grace)..let’s hope this girl group proves that they aren’t just pretty faces,and that they can sing well. I sincerly hope that there isn’t going to be as many members as 13, I found it hard enough trying to remember and distinguish Suju members, but 13 korean girls that almost look exactly alike? I don’t think so.

excuse me but i don’t think yuri is the “super” version of LIna. Lina has the most powerful voice of Csjh members, i think.

I have a huge feeling they’re not going to do well because girls fight over fame more than boys do. But you never know. However, so many girl groups are out now no one’s going to bother with Super Girls unless they’re AMAZING. But they do come from SM, so their bound to be awesome dancers (look at TSZX The Grace!). Yoona’s been around for a long, long time, she’s probably glad she’s finally debuting. Tiffany looks like Jang Riin, I thought it was her at first. IS she American? She has an American name. And let me bet that they’re making the American ones the rappers–always happens.

Sm needs to stop putting crack in his bab (rice). When I first saw these pictures, I thought they were all of the same girl. O_o Does anyone agree with me? Super Junior sells because they have raving fan girls but I don’t think fan girls or boys are willing to rave over Super Girls… at least not with Jessica’s rep.

Honestly, sometimes I do not see the point of making a big group. Because in the end you always have the same 2 singers singing most of the parts and everyone is just there.

i found out that tiffany is actually stephanie hwang. and she is american. she only changed her name because theres already a stephanie in SM

cause i agree too many people in a group, individual singing time would be less..
& i hate that when it happens to suju but i do enjoy many NICE voices in a song.. (so i actually don`t really mind suju individual singing is little as long as they are together)
