The Korean press refers to Kim Yunjin, part of the cast of the hit series, “Lost” as a “world star.” She is the biggest world star in terms of acting that Korea has right now since she has successfully established herself in the U.S. as a TV actress. That’s all good. We are proud of her but not of the overly photoshopped mug that is featured in the August 2007 issue of Instyle magazine (U.S.) She looks completely unnatural and I would not want beauty tips from that face.
She does however, look more “natural” at the Jill Stuart Fashion Show that was held yesterday.
Yeah the photos of Kim Yun-jin in InStyle magazine makes her look like a wax figure.
American magazines + photoshop = BFF.
And in spite of all the photoshopping and what not, she’s still ugly and I would not do her.

in style’s photos really wouldn’t look so bad if they hadn’t tampered with her nose so much. In the 2nd picture she looks like she has M.Jackson’s nose.

I honestly don’t understand why Asian stars are in such a rush to make it big in the US. I mean Yunjin is Korean from Korea. You would at least think that a Korean American would be up in Hollywood first, so what is this world star thing really saying about how America not only feels about Asians but Asian Americans…or does it really matter??? America is straight racist…I don’t know why people don’t realize that until they get here.
Is she in her mid 40s? She’s kept her body in good shape for her age…surgery didn’t help beautify her face though. She looks like a friggin robot.

she is gorgeous…but anyway, world star? how could being a celebrity in two countries make you a world star? I think being a world star means that you should be part of the entertainment industry in every single continent…but iono, that is my opinion, but i hope she can make it into big time movies and not just shows
@Leigh: Yeah, I don’t think she is a world star. Most people who don’t watch Lost probably won’t know who she is.
And I’m sure Americans get her confused with Lucy Liu or Sandra Oh.

The bottom line is..Yunjin Kim is not a talented actress.
Poor performances..
Sandra Oh is much better looking and talented actress!
