I have some heartbreaking news to Soulmates fans. Producer Noh Do Chul wrote on his cyworld that he’s leaving the sitcomville for dramaville. Since Soulmates was oddly categorized as a sitcom, Producer Noh going to dramaville signaled the no-go for Soulmates Season 2, at least until he settles down in his new town and wins himself enough support to produce the next seasons for many of his hit sitcoms, including Soulmates and Goodbye Francesca. What a bummer, but I can’t wait to see Producer Noh’s next project. Based on his track record, my expectations are pretty high. Good luck in dramaville!

Because sit-coms are not the big selling content, and because the charaters in SOULMATE are not the ‘well-known’ ones in Asia or in other countries, that this ‘good’ program did not mark the bug sale. So, if we could write them to show that there are a lot of fans out there (cause the ones who don’t live in Korea haven’t been counted in the ratings) it might encourage them to have the second season. and if we could all spread the word so that other people will watch the show when they reintroduce it, it would really help a lot. So we can all enjoy this show once again.
And it definitely pays to write!

kind of sad…I was expecting not to have one since it’s been a long time…but still disappointed.
I’m actually happy about this. Soulmate was a perfect little gem. It’s beauty was in the ending, even if it wasn’t shown you know that the two soulmates will find one another. There’s no need for a sequel.

This is really sad. Soulmate is one of my favorite dramas, if not the favorite. But isn’t Shin Dong-Wook in it? He’s gaining popularity from the drama “Money’s Warfare” right?
Although, Soulmate can stand well on its own and ended nicely, I was still looking forward to a sequel… ;.;

Noooooooooooo 좀좀좀좀(please)make the sequel Producer Noh Do Chul you must continue. I loved Soulmate’s esp. the OST. The OST ppl if you didn’t see the series or hear the ost you should. Each piece of music fit so well with every part. Esp the part where Dong-wok and Soo-kyung(char. names are there real names)are sitting on the bench and Soo-kyung unni is sitting there crying then next to her Dong-wok oppa can hear her thoughts so he decides to put the music earplugs he was listening to in her ear and the have ‘a moment’. I am not sure what the sitcom vs. drama. I just love this series because the storyline is kinda realistic. People don’t fall in love with just one person and die if they can’t be with each other .. people move on and find some other love.
The 2 main characters found each other because they are comfortable with each other.
I luv the fact that they have such great chemistry with each other …
I for one enjoyed Soulmates – i must admit in the first few episodes it was a bit boring but it got really better as the drama progressed esp. at the end when SDW finally found his soulmate! I wish you a Happy Birthday Shin Dong Wook on Sept. 14th & Sarang-ireul chukahaeyo! I hope you do another drama like in Cloud Staircase which is one of my ten best Kdramas! I enjoyed it so much that I forgave your character in War of Money (smiles)!! Love you!

This movie is so underrated! I thought this movie was amazing. Better than a lot of those other dramas with the repeated storylines (so predictable) But I like this drama! I guess we can kinda predict that they will end up together…but I want more! I love the music and the actors ^_^
