She’s a mess. I can’t believe she took a 15 hours plane ride in that outfit. Not even the trashiest American women wear shorts that go that far up the ass. Hyori embarasses herself. First of all, no one knows who she is over here. Second of all, she disgraces herself by daring to arrive in a foreign country looking like a Las Vegas hooker. Yes, this is how hookers in Vegas look, Miss Lee. Grow up!!!

Plus, her ass is super flat. She should cover it up.

I don’t like Hyori, nor do I hate her, but goodness…some of you….

1.) Do people have to know her for her to come over? Anyway, quite a number of people do actually know her here (e.g you and me) and are attending the concerts. They might not be Caucasian or whatnot, but she IS known – probably more known in the states than the other performers performing…

2.) Can she not wear sunglasses just because she likes to? Maybe she has bags under her eyes or soemthing. Who knows. Have you seen the pictures? Because it sure doesn’t look like she’s hiding from cameras or anything. She just looks tired.

3.)Can she not wear short shorts like other American girls? They sell those everywhere. I guess if wearing those type of clothing makes you a hooker than the majority of the people I see at the beach wearing short shorts are hookers huh? *rolls eyes*

She’s not on the beach, Triple. You should know the difference yourself. She is a Korean celebrity arriving in a foreign country as her country’s representative (like it or not…and I feel the same way when an American celebrity goes to a foreign country). I can’t believe you would try to defend her inappropriate choice of clothing for a transatlantic flight when this IS Lee Hyori we’re talking about–probably Korea’s most “look at me” exhibitionist female celebrity. She can only be dressed that way for ONE reason–to get attention. I don’t care about the shades and I don’t care whether she’s known or not. It’s her choice of attire that is appalling. Even a normal pair of shorts would have been fine.

The problem here is that so many people no longer give a shit about the message they send out by the choices they make in how they look and how they appear to others.

Dumpling, Abercrombie&Fitch sell shorts that are as short or even shorter than that. Then does that mean all the white kids who buy it are ‘Las Vegas hookers’? Please.

She’s wearing comfortable clothes on the air flight, and she certainly does fit in with the people in America (dress-wise). But then again, it’s no use trying to change the point of view of a person with a mindset of being conservative.

Anyone who wears clothes like that looks like a Las Vegas hooker, YES, in my opinion. Do you know what Las Vegas hookers look like? Then you would not have a reason to disagree. Her shorts are half an inch from showing her ass. Inappropriate!! Why are you bringing race into it? Why do you feel the need to ask me specifically how I feel about WHITE people wearing this outfit? Why didn’t you ask me how I feel about black people dressing like that or hispanics or arabs? Why WHITE? You don’t know the FIRST THING about me or how I feel about Asians so don’t dare lay that crap on me.

And “conservative” is not a dirty word. If you think it is then you should consider that so is “narrow-minded”.

And another thing, Dumpling, for someone who said earlier that nobody knows Hyori over here, you sure make Hyori sound like a huge representative for Asia now.
BTW, I seriously don’t think jane intended to attack white people (I think you are taking it too seriosuly). I guess it’s just a stereotype that white and a&f go together more so than arab and a&f, etc(Yes I’m stereotyping too by saying that, sue me). And did she say she knows how you feel about asians et al? I have no idea why you are getting so defensive and so “I don’t like Hyori” just because of a pair of shorts.

Thank you Triple6, thats exactly what i meant. I was just applying a stereotype that it most of the time true. And I’m not ‘laying crap on you’ neither was I assuming anything about you. Quite frankly, I don’t have the slightest bit of interest of what you are or what you think of whites, arabs, etc. I’m not judging you, because I don’t care.

I do however care that you think Lee Hyori is dressed like a ‘Las Vegas hooker’ when she is just wearing COMFORTABLE clothes on the air flight. God, I cant believe you made me really look at the picture that close. You can see that the shorts are ridden up, because underneath her jacket, the shorts are slightly wrinkled/overlapping. She probably didn’t notice it that far up, I can’t believe you would criticize her for such a petty little thing. I don’t know if you have ever wore shorts before, but they DO ride up when you sit down and sometimes stay that way when you stand back up. Jeeeezz.

You said it yourself, “no one knows who she is over there”. Than no one will care how she dresses, so why do you? I never meant ‘convservative’ as a “dirty word”. I’m just sick and tired of everyone talking about how conservative Koreans should be, when it’s out of that stage now, and people still haven’t gotten over it. Dumpling, I agree somewhat with you…she’s kind of a dumbass. Not even girls like Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton dress like that on long transatlantic flights; short shorts just aren’t comfortable because they ride up all over the place. She just kind of looks like she’s trying too hard. And I noticed her flat ass, too! Hahahaha!!
