What is wrong with cultural ambassador and popstar, Rain? He is suppose to be converting the masses of females into fans with his hot dance moves and sexy ways- not trying to create awareness for trafficking and exploitation of women, which has nothing to do with him at all!! Unless, of course, he knows someone who has been sold- although I highly doubt it. I don’t understand how he can jump from cause to cause that he doesn’t have his heart in. First the AIDs campaign and now EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) for MTV. His intentions to help do not seem honest, but just a obvious ploy to increase his exposure. Rain will be involved in a 30 minute MTV documentary on human trafficking and exploitation that will be aired in 8 countries including Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.
His lack of focus nor his superficial good intentions will help his image as a “world star”

It’s sad to see someone being criticize for trying to do something good. Regardless of his intention, it’s all for a good cause so why must people be so harsh?

@taebin: oh, I really agree with you that Rain should take serious English course to master. But please give him a break to do that, he is not a child prodigy or born in English-speaking country. I believe that he can do that well as he always does. Frankly, it is the first time I visit this site although I have heard that this site is very biases against Rain. But it is so ridiculous that the writer lets his brain gone with the wind when bashing Rain because he has been doing good causes!As someone said above, if the writer wanted to draw Rain fans’ attraction, he gained a big success. No one can assume what Rain’s true intentions are and whether he actually wants to help the world or to help himself gain additional publicity via MTV.
If Rain, appears in 1 or 2 ads for this cause then disappears, we know what his real intentions were. However, if he continues to be a advocate for more than a few years, then, I will be the first to congratulate RAIN. I doubt it though.
For all supporters of RAIN, who just can’t face the reality of the entertainment business and things RAIN must do to for his survival, just keep track as to how much RAIN actually does for this cause before he jumps to the next trendy cause.
Sure, no one can know for sure what is in someone else’s heart. So Rain’s fans will continue to see in Rain all things pure and wonderful, done with all good intentions and anti’s will see everything with he does through cynical eyes…that’s what keeps the comments coming on the blogs!
Of course, the truth probably lies somewhere in between both extremes. In the meantime, using your celebrity for good deeds beats the hell out of making a name for yourself by partying and getting arrested, etc. (yeah, some US stars set a pretty low standard!)
So, whether your heart is really in it or if you are just doing it to polish your public image: thanks, Rain, for choosing good causes to support and not embarrassing yourself, your fans, or your country.

Not that we love Rain means we’re not able to face the reality. I’ve admired Britney for a real real long time, but I still have to admit that she let me down. Or I’ve started to know Micheal Jackson as my idol when I was 3 years old, I have to admit that he’s a … freak, but he’s still a king of pop that the world call “Legend”. So there’s no doubt that Rain makes mistake n’ I know that. But differ from the ones who just wait for his trouble to appear to show the world that he’s just a totally freak, or have unreasonable fights to deny the truth, I just wan him de know that people grow by mistakes n’ even all the world againts him 4 those, there’re, still, somewhere, people who always believe him, always remember the things he has done. Rain financially and emotionally supported a woman who was diagnosed with stomach cancer and was given 6 months to live after the birth of her daughter. This is what Bi is all about, he gave over 20 million won for her medical bills and called in to check on her occasionally. Having lost his mother i bet he can relate, still this was a very very touching good deed. (my heart exploded when the story came out) So sad, so sweet ㅂㅅㅂ.
