It took 12 episodes for Han Gyul (Gong Yoo) and Eun Chan (Yun Eunhye) to become a real couple. As much as I love their recent cute couple scenes, the milestone scenes that made them the lovable couple they are today were way better! Not only were they emotionally charged, but they were also beautifully executed. Out of these five Han Gyul- Eun Chan moments, which was your favorite?
1) First hug
Han Gyul forcefully hugs Eun Chan trying to understand his feelings for “him.” While Han Gyul starts to question his sexuality, Eun Chan realizes her feelings for him.
2) Sworn brothers
Han Gyul & Eun Chan are already deeply in love, but they cannot confess their feelings for each other. In an effort to hide their true feelings, Han Gyul and Eun Chan opt be to sworn brothers. It was a heart-breaking yet a lovely scene.
3) The beach scene
As sworn brothers, they hit the beach. Right before sunrise, Eun Chan falls alseep and Han Gyul agonizes over the situation. He wants to embrace “him” but he stops himself in pain. It was another painful scene to endure.
4) First lip-lock
Han Gyul finally expressed his true feelings to “boy” Eun Chan. He said, “I’m only going to say this once. I like you – lets take this as far as we can…” That kiss, that moment….was perr-fect!!
5) The chestnut scene
Han Gyul and Eun Chan meet while picking up Eun Chan’s chestnuts and they become the lovable lovey dovey couple we all love. Yay to Han Gyul & Eun Chan! Finally, they can love each other without the guilt of lying and fear of homosexuality.
