Popdiva and budding entrepreneur, Uhm Jung-hwa looks like a man in drag in this animal print dress with low plunging neckline and frizzed out hair. No wait. I take that back. She looks like a R.S. madam from the countryside. And I don’t think R.Ss exist there anyways, more like cheap hostess bars. Not sure what image she is trying to project with this wild outfit, but it’s definitely not class. And what’s with the Elvira hair? She looks even more ghastly than the frizzed out look. Luckily, her taste in lingerie is a bit more refined. Although not at the La Perla level of gorgeousness, the underwear is simple and extremely wearable (except for the men’s briefs).
This is Ms. Uhm attempt to foray into the highly competitive world of fashion with the launch of her new lingerie & innerwear brand, Zuhm in New York and Corner Suite. Her cute brother, Uhm Tae-woong and singer-turned-actor Yoo Gun were there to lend their support.

Her face looks rather surgeried. What a turn-off. Will they never learn? The hair looks great until your eyes fall upon the fake poofy attachment thing in the back. The earrings could have been nice if they were dialed back a notch on the size. And the dress isn’t that horrible–if she didn’t have her bra peeking out (what is that? an attempt to have a low-cut dress without showing too much cleavage, so she lets the bra show??). She has a really nice upper torso area. Her models and models’ clothes are not impressive. The models look absurd.
one thing i just don’t get is why korean fashion companies always ask for caucasian models..if they;re main target is asian customers, why r they using caucasian models? i don’t mean to be racist or anything, but i just noticed that…

This is something I’ve been dying to know also. I am caucausian and I don’t really understand it. I don’t think Asians realize that Asian women in particular are a paradigm of beauty in the west. We drool over their flawless skin, their cheekbones, full lips and their long silky black hair. Meanwhile, they are showcasing Twiggy in their own fashions. I don’t get it.
