North Korean leader Kim Jong Il is hiding more than weapons of mass destruction. He reportedly loves to watch South Korean tv programs, and among his favorite stars is Lee Young Ae. Lee practically started the Korean wave with Dae Jang Geum, but who knew that the Hallyu could penetrate the cold heart of Kim Jong Il? When I first saw this article on Yahoo! I did I double take to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. Kim and Lee side by side? What could be the connection? I’m sure anyone who isn’t into the k-pop world would still be surprised that KJI even watches or owns a television. Obviously no one in his country is allowed to ride the hallyu wave, but I guess this communist leader is jumping the bandwagon too!

Hyori is trying hard to make us believe that her comment about her nose job during SBS’s Platter Karaoke (한가위 쟁반노래방) was a “joke.” When comedian Shin Dong Yup suggested making piggy nose to match the song they were rehearsing, Hyori replied “I can’t because of my plastic nose.” That was aired and within hours, Ms. Hyori retracted her comment and responded “What, people can’t even take a joke?” Obviously, her management company intervened, but Ms. Hyori, we don’t need your words to confirm that you have a plastic nose. FT Island jumps on the acting bandwagon

I expected better from FT Island, but they turned out to be no different from other boy-bands populating the industry. FT Island’s bassist Lee Jae Jin is jumping on the acting bandwagon with sitcom Unstoppable Marriage, re-make of the movie that starred Eugene and Ha Suk Jin. Jae Jin will play the youngest of four children who falls in love with an older love interest, played by Girls Generation’s Yuri and Soo Young.
I could care less about the remake of a mediocre movie, but I’m curious to see how FTers and GGers will react when they see their beloved idol kissing someone else. Will FTers and GGers collaborate with each other for the sitcom’s success or will go overboard becoming each other’s antis?
Lee Young Ja is a famous comedian who was banned from television when she lied about how she lost massive weight. She ran around Korea proclaiming she had shed the weight through exercise and diet, making money from her diet videos and programs, but her lies backfired on her when it was discovered that it was a load of cash, a plastic surgeon, and a large tube that transformed her into skinny minnie. After taking off for a long time Lee Young Jah is back.
I want you to picture this before you see the picture. LYJ attended the LUNA 2007 F/W new collection celebration for a new makeup artist’s brand at Club Circle. She wore a black, fitted, flowy dress with a V neck bearing her chest which was accentuated with a diamond necklace.
