I do agree that Giordano is a bit on the expensive side but it’s about the same price as American brands and the cutting and style is very American as well… I’m surprised that the clothes suit Asian tastes period. I don’t wear Giordano anymore but it’s interesting to see the company use celebrities such as Jang Dong-Gun and Rain to advertise it. I wonder which celebrity is gonna advertise the female version…

the brand has been around for a decade or so, i think brand doesn’t matter as long as you know how to carry what to wear. fashion not necessarily means wearing expensive designer brands, there you go again popseoul, giordano isn’t cheap as what you think…after all it’s a brand that common people can’t afford to buy.

Actually I thought Giordano is a generic brand that originated from Hong Kong, which is a part of China now. I’m kind of surprised it’s in other asian countries too, but I wouldn’t call it the elite clothes store or anything… anyway, JDG looks sharp for his age, he does make those suits look classy.

And please don’t tell me man in 30’s cannot wear casual t-shirt and jeans. So i really do not get what you mean when you said Giordano doesn’t fit dg and he should pick the product he endorses properly. I like Giordano and i can tell you when you buy it in korea, the price of their jeans is like me buying CK, Polo and DKNY in the states.

JDG is the most respected actor in Korea and deserves better than your ‘druggie’ comments. Do bear in mind, he lost a lot of weight since Typhoon and has been injured recently during filming of Laundry Warrior.
yep, giordano has different lines targeted at consumer groups with varying purchasing powers. the mass-market giordano’s the one that commonfolk like me wear at home, because it’s SUPER MASS PRODUCED and giordano him/ ladies sell clothes that are so expensive i’d vacuum-freeze mine if i ever lose my mind and buy one
History Times by Icysnowqueen: Giordano was a household brand for cheap T-shirts, jeans and bermudas (S$8 – S$20) in Singapore about 15++ years ago. Gradually, it tried to upmarket itself. Now, a pair of Giordano jeans cost S$50++ and bermudas S$40++. Even with the launch of GioKids, GioHim, GioLadies, it is difficult to get rid of what Giordano is to most Singaporeans.
My own take: For a brand that is worn by aunties and uncles and seen as cheap in Singapore, I would rather pay more and buy a pair of Levis jeans (Mid-range).

Jang Dong Gun looks real hot in these pictures. Who would guess this guy is already 34 or 35? He seems to look younger and hotter now after losing weight. I like his present looks! Have seen some of his other CF pictures, must say Jang is very versatile, can show totally different image in different CF.
