Lee Seo Jin takes on a historical king role in Yisan

0829 yi san

Dear Lee Seo Jin,

Why did you take on a historical drama Yisan? Was it because it was produced by Lee Byung Hoon, producer of international hits Dae Jang Geum (대장금) and Huh-Joon (허준)? Or was it because young and gorgeous Han Ji-Min was your love interest? Whatever your reason was, I’m not too happy with it because I had to invest in a Korean-Korean dictionary to understand what you are going to say for 50 episodes. Yisan better be good or you owe me $24.99.

Sincerely,
-POPSEOUL!

*Yisan starts on September 17th on MBC.

Han Ji Min already has a movie and a television series this year, no? Another 50 episode drama to add to her resume this year? WHOA. Heard great reviews on her movie and series, Capital Scandal…and with this to add (assuming it quality will be maintained) , this gal really is highly efficient.

Ohh, 24.99 dollars for a dictionary is kinda pricey. Even Oxford don’t charge you that much!

Is this drama under-promoted? I have never heard of it before. Ha Ji Min is like 25, right? She has such a baby face.

love Han Ji Min.. she’s pretty hot in Korean entertainment industry right now.. She’s everywhere. She’s so pretty and cute. She even has talent as an actress.

Lee Seo Jin is pretty attractive… very manly. I think he looks good with his new fiance, KEJ.

His speech isn’t THAT bad.. I know he did attend school in NY for a while.. but I don’t hear any thick accent. Did you hear Han Go Eun’s (Cha Song Joo) in the drama Capital Scandal? I cringe every time I hear it.. nothing tops that. I’m glad most non-Koreans don’t know how horrible she sounds. She looks beautiful but she can’t speak Korean without sounding silly and she can’t speak English without sounding fobby.
