Hot-bodied comedians, former Ms Koreans, B-list actresses and models got together to share the beauty of Korean han-boks on the runway. Han-boks featured at Hwanjini fashion show were absolutely gorgeous, but I can’t say the same thing about the models. But do read on to check out the elegant and beautiful hanboks.
Baek Bo-ram, the pretty faced comedian looks surprised with her rabbit eyes, but she cannot carry the elegant purple hanbok. She should’ve worn a brighter color to match her cheery face.
Lee Min Kyung, former member of disbanded group Diva looks okay because that hanbok is made for someone in mid-40s.
Ham Jae Hee aka the 2nd Gong Yoo is literally swimming in his oversized red hanbok. He’s lacking the broad shoulders to make it look like he’s a real loyalty.
2006 Ms Korea Runner up Sharon Park’s gache – the hair piece reminds me of a fantasy anime movie. And that must have weighed tons!
Hot bodied comedian Kim Mi Yeon’s hanbok looks like it was personally made for her. Her blubbly and outgoing personality matches the detailed yet fun hanbok perfectly!
Jung Siah never received the spotlight as an actress and the same here as a model, although she looks absolutely gorgeous in her pink chima (dress) and flowerly gache (hair piece).
Lee Eun Hee looks like she’s wearing a curtain and her stiff face doesn’t help either.
Actor Ryu Tae Joon’s charismatic face added the needed testosterone to the flowerly hanbok, but I can’t say the same thing about his mustache.

i like what lee eun hee is wearing. That hanbok is simply ouragouesly beautiful!!!
o man.. those hanbok must cost a great deal to own…
Kim Mi Yeon’s hanbok is absolutely gorgeous. Definitely one of the most gorgeous hanboks I’ve seen.
is it true that black is a rare color for traditional hanbok? it was a creative idea just for this movie version. i recall the designer explained this in an interview.
Damn, are their hair ornaments for real? And I thought Ha Ji Won’s Hwang Jin Yi was over the top.
Do you know if these are actually based on reality or are the design team’s wild interpretations of actual ancient Korean clothing?
Oh wait, this is Ha Ji Won’s Hwang Jin Yi…so where are all the actresses in the actual drama?
WAAAiii I wanna wear one of those hanbok!
finally, Ham Jae Hee fully clothed.
all of these are soo pretty >.<
WOW!!!!!!! These hanboks are stunningly gorgeous, except for the second GY because the oversized hanbok is, well, too big for him lol..it looks weird.
Gorgeous all the way around! Wish I could wear one of those, especially Kim Mi Yeon’s!
Makes me want to wear a hanbok
Stunning!
(I feel neck pain just staring at the gache though… :X)
wow
the hanboks look really pretty
are they really expensive? i’d like to have one.. :3
With the way the ornaments/fake hair being bundled atop the ladies’ heads, I wonder how much it might have weighed.
kim mi yeon’s handbok looks less formal, but the style fits the younger generation so i think it’s cute!
ryu taeyun was in hwangjini the drama, right?
i just like how you refer Ham Jae Hee as the 2nd Gong Yoo… lol…now he will forever be known as the 2nd Gong Yoo to me!
very beautiful. i want to wear one too!
Korean culture is so damn beautiful
and of course, the korean people are quite beautiful too ;P
Yah they should have won preetiest hamok. I love their hanbok there soo pretty.
Lee Min Kyung’s hanbok looks great.
Kim Mi Yeon’s hanbok is soooo pretty!!!! iwsh i could have one of those
