Despite JYP’s involvement, my expectations of Wondergirls were always on the low side, but these girls did not even meet my underground expectations with their Tell Me comeback performance. The 80s dance was very cheesy, the song wasn’t catchy and Yoobin’s rap segment did not flow with the rest of the song. I hate to be saying this, but their first single Irony was much better than this 80s reenactment. Did Wondergirls performance impress you?
first. they suck.
second. they can’t dance and sing.
third. they’re trying too hard to be cute, sexy/hot, pretty, and one of them look like ah jum mah.
forth. they’re really corny they shouldn’t be near the stage.

the voice of the girl in white really irks me, she CAN’T sing!!! god…
and yoobin…sigh…the not-so-necessary rap only had about two lines? she’s not needed in the group really…

I really don’t mind the song… or the 80’s feel. JYP always knows what he’s doing (whether he does it right or not)… and there’s always style. however, you can’t throw 80’s feel at a group of young girls with no style. you gotta have so much style to pull it off. Gwen Stephanie, Fergie, Kylie Minogue (excuse my poor ability to spell) are all very good examples of style. NOT wonder girls. and what is up with the name! JYP you messed up on the name! you might as well call them the Typhoon girls, Super School Super Cool, or Poppy Pop
the girl in white can’t sing but she looks the youngest and she got a dance solo out of no where.. so she’s the dancing one who can’t sing. she shouldn’t get so many singing parts.

with all that said though… i think they will become good singers when they grow up. that is a lot of training.

Everyone is too used to Hyun Ah…it’s sad that you guys aren’t even giving that Yoobin girl a chance. Don’t blame her for the rap, blame the songwriters. It’s not like she wrote the thing. She only got 2 lines in the song…how would you feel in her situation. Give her a chance…i personally think she’ll better than hyun ah, but bcuz she is new they have to throw something together to make her fit in a little amount of time. What if Hyun ah already recorded this song and now they have to do everything over because she quit? It’s not fair to judge the new girl, not yet. Out of this whole performance, is yoobin seriously the girl who you would throw out? So Hee, no offense, sucked a LOT more. She would be the first one I would kick out….

Well I guess you guys who dissed the wondergirls are now feeling rather stupid. Tell Me is now a complete kpop phenomenon. Everyone knows the song and sings it (even if the only words they know are “tell” and “me”). I learned the “cheesy” dance and performed it for my students and now I am their god. Yubin may have a “man voice” (otherwise known as husky) but I don’t know any rapper who has a girly voice. And yes, while that dance solo definitely made me scratch my head thinking “whaaaa???”, I don’t have to tell you that these girls are going to get even more popular. Their new song “Pabo” is a big hit. It seems that despite these negative comment JYP and the Wondergirls actually know what they are doing.

noo! this song is so catchy. i was hooked the first time i heard it. i can hear this song everywhere at school.. and everyone’s so into learning the dance cause it looks so simple and fun. and yoobin’s voice is NOT manly. yoobin is sexy and so is her voice. i prefer the rap version much better than the original; yoobin’s rap makes the song!
I actually like this song. Lol I thought SunYe was Yoobin but my favourites are SunYe and Yoobin. Yoobin is so cute and pretty ^_^ and Sunye has a good voice!! Sunmi has improved her live. I was surprised at Ye Euns part coz it sounds almost exactly like the CD version. Lol you can tell So Hee is the only one that had heaps of synthesizers to make her voice sound okay on CD. She sucks at singing.. lol and she cant dance well either.
