Despite JYP’s involvement, my expectations of Wondergirls were always on the low side, but these girls did not even meet my underground expectations with their Tell Me comeback performance. The 80s dance was very cheesy, the song wasn’t catchy and Yoobin’s rap segment did not flow with the rest of the song. I hate to be saying this, but their first single Irony was much better than this 80s reenactment. Did Wondergirls performance impress you?
I actually don’t mind the song, and the dancing is easy enough to dance along too! But the girl in the white top has an annoyingly screechy voice… personally preferring the girl in the blue top who has a good voice. And YooBin? She blended into the performance and suddenly she pops out with her rap and I’m asking myself… is she a featuring rapper or is she part of the band? *counts* only four left dancing… oh she IS a part of the band?!! I think it’s better than their first song =/
I love seeing their dance in a distant view. Notice their stick figure properly coordinated. The song’s stuck in my head but have to agree that Yoobin’s rap sucks! What was that? It’s like in a concert, shouting in between the bridge.

Despite SoHee’s weak vocals, I really enjoyed the song and all the comeback performances. They show a lot of charisma on stage, in my opinion the song is really catchy (it can stuck on your mind very easily, believe me).
I liked how Yubin rapped, but I didn’t like the rap itself. It sounds a bit out of place in the song. Overall I think she blended well with the group, and kind of made WG look a bit older (which is a positive thing, I think).
The dance was horrific. The singing was horrific. Well the dance was cute but NOT with that song. They need some more practice before they make a comeback.

They should have given more singing parts to the girl in blue. Yoobin was hot. She shouldn’t be in this group, she’s too hip hop for it.

When I first heard this a couple days ago or whatever I was kind of Iffy about it. But I can’t deny that this is the kind of song that is catchy to the point that you’d find yourself singing it accidentally, and be like, “Oh crap, again?” LOL.

Personally, I blame the songwriters and the designer of the costumes lol. They could have gave Yoobin a better rap but her rap was the best thing out of the song i believe. I watched it again and idon’tknow if I feel it as much as the last time i saw it….Yoobin is my favorite though…i like her style and how she stands out.
also, isn’t Yoobin trained for hip hop? So shouldn’t she be a really good hip hop dancer? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Sun Ye did a great job in this performance, So Hee was the weakest, maybe that’s why they gave her that solo dance. Yoo Bin’s rapping didn’t fit the song and the choreography sort of went with the song, but it was rather weak. Their first single was much stronger, this song just seems mediocre.

Their hair could have been a lot better. Soo Hee shouldn’t ever have as many lines as Sun Mi (who had quite an amount) ever again. She sounds okay recorded, but her live is a no-no.
Ye Eun…though I’m not a fan of her voice, for some reason, it didn’t even sound as ‘good’ as people say it does in other songs.
Of course Sun Ye had the best voice performance, but they didn’t give her enough lines! I was glad Sun Mi had good amount.
I really miss Hyun Ah now… YooBin may be pretty hot, but her flow ain’t that great.
The only reason why I anticipated their album was because I really liked the entire IRONY single. But hopefully picking this as their debut single for their album was just a mistake and they have better songs on it. Plus, the commercial for the album is so freaking random—that i absolutely love it.

I never really got into the wondergirls as a group because i didn’t like the image that they were portraying. sexed up teenagers. bleh. the whole sex kittens/school girls look made me sick to the stomach. i did like irony although it was basically hyun ah’s rap and sun ye’s vocals. this performance blew me away. as in, i was ducking for cover ’cause i thought that another world war began. not funny i know. but it sounded good in my mind. x] anyways, without the awesome choreography and the eew outfits, this shows what talent the wondergirls really have. why can’t jyp just invest his time in the great artists that he already has, like lim jeong hee, instead of mediocre acts like this?

JYP always knows what he’s doing (whether he does it right or not)… and there’s always style. however, you can’t throw 80’s feel at a group of young girls with no style. you gotta have so much style to pull it off. Gwen Stephanie, Fergie, Kylie Minogue (excuse my poor ability to spell) are all very good examples of style. NOT wonder girls. and what is up with the name! She only got 2 lines in the song…how would you feel in her situation. Well I guess you guys who dissed the wondergirls are now feeling rather stupid. Tell Me is now a complete kpop phenomenon. Everyone knows the song and sings it (even if the only words they know are “tell” and “me”). I learned the “cheesy” dance and performed it for my students and now I am their god. Yubin may have a “man voice” (otherwise known as husky) but I don’t know any rapper who has a girly voice. And yes, while that dance solo definitely made me scratch my head thinking “whaaaa???”, I don’t have to tell you that these girls are going to get even more popular. Their new song “Pabo” is a big hit. It seems that despite these negative comment JYP and the Wondergirls actually know what they are doing.
