Officially, Rain is “vacationing” while Yang Dong Sun tries to take his place. He told the media that he wants to rest for next 3 weeks, so he’s ignoring all requests for interview. Talk about endless modesty. But this does not stop floods of speculation articles about Rain’s whereabouts and of course, we are here to share. It looks like Rain is preparing for a big business transaction to bank on his popularity while it lasts. Instead of going public with his Rainy Entertainment, many speculate that Rain will merge with another company then go public, following in Bae Yong Joon’s footsteps.
Rain, it’s about time you give a press conference to clear everything up. But how naive of me to even think that Rain will even give us a straight answer. He’s going to refer everything back to his motto and his hard luck story and hope that we all forget about his concert fiasco.

As I said, that statement that you made invites people to make comparisons between people who have lost loved ones versus people who haven’t. You don’t see it? You’re trying to make it seem like Rain is somehow special because he lost his mother. Well … a lot of other people have, too.

I did not say that I felt the need to “compare” myself to Rain. I don’t. I’m saying that there are millions of other people in the world who work just as hard as he does and we don’t consider them “God”, nor do we put them on a pedestal and worship them.
He deserves what every hardworking person deserves. Respect. No more, no less.

Without the hair and the clothes, Rain is actually really fugly. He’s lucky he’s tall and can dance somewhat. Guess that’s what makes him attractive. But he’s not natural beauty. Look how goofy he looks with short hair, a lot of girls would just walk pass him as another average – below average guy. Anyhow, he’s no big deal in my book.

Rain also trained very hard for 4 years diligently under JYP as a backup dancer and made his debut successfully. That is his reward. I think he truly deserves it.

no matter what anyone says, u gotta admit rain CAN dance, and dance really good. i heard all my white friends talking about how great chris brown was at dancing at the VMAs…i watched it, and he was just okay. im not being biased. i like chris brown, but compared to rain, his dance was less than mediocre. so if ppl thought chris brown was good, then they would be amazed by rain… *sigh. now if only rain could come up with something more unique, and not pop and hip hop, which is overplayed in the U.S. he could definitely catch ppl’s attention b/c he’s definitely got talent.

Get a clue, Singer means one who can sing, not one who can only dance. That’s why RAIN sucks. Anyone can dance, but everyone can SING.
I think it is so ridiculous when I watch a Korean Entertainment Show where Hyori/Rain or anyother so called singer just dances to a known American song. Big deal they can dance. That’s not singing. I just end up looking at Hyori’s T’s & A’s, or Rain’s FEM body. It’s just eye candy.
RAIN will never come up with something unique. RAIN does not have a creative brain or talent. He is a package that is artificially put together for the sole purpose of being an “IDOL” to making money. There is a difference between a real talented singer and a packaged IDOL. You stated yourself that RAIN is not the greatest singer. By comparing RAIN to singer’s that are worst than him does not justify RAIN can sing. It’s like comparing trash to worst trash.
