Wondergirls were in a car accident today on their way back from a college festival in Pusan at 1:40 am. Luckily, the Wondergirls incurred only minor injuries but the taxi driver of the other car died instantly. The police are currently investigating the cause of the driver’s sudden death.
It’s unfortunate that celebrity car accidents are as common as romance scandals in Korea. When will management companies learn to take care of their factory made idol stars? I guess Hyun-ah’s compromised health and her subsequent departure did not teach JYP Entertainment a lesson about taking care of these under-aged girls. Shame on you JYP!
Wondergirls are currently at a hospital in Kangnam and they will discontinue their promotional activities until further notice. Get wells soon girls!

Until actual detail of the accident, nobody should be pointing fingers as to whose fault it is. When there’s a death, even popseoul should slowly play the blame game.

There’s a news video about the accident here. The Wonder Girls’ van rear-ended the taxi driver. Strange that being rear-ended would kill the taxi driver (unless he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, which would be odd); I guess that’s why the police are investigating the cause of death.

wow, Bada was in a car accident a couple weeks ago. There were no deaths, but some injuries. it’s such a coincidence that both Bada and the Wonder Girls have 80’s styles to their current music.
We shouldn’t play the blame game as we do not know what really happened. For all we know, there could have been a 3rd car involved. Very sorry about the cabbie’s death.

what isn’t factory made though? you got people going to school learning the same crap who get led around like cattle to different subjects. If that’s not enough, you have people going to church to behave one way and then if you want to be a certain profressional, you are prep yourself to act a certain way in order to be accepted.

Girls, stop whining. My older sister wasnt suppossed to live after her car accident and now she walks talks, her jaw which was shattered was replaced, all sorts of bones broken, she is y hero out of rehab in 3 weeks when the doctor gave her 6 months.

You know what’s really sweet, though? Since Sun Mi was in the middle, she would have sustained the most injuries, but Sun Ye pulled her to her side as soon as the car hit so Sun Ye was the most injured :[
