We at POPSEOUL!, as representatives of Korea would like to formally apologize for DBSK, Lee Hyori, Super Junior, SG Wannabe and FT Island’s absences.
Pop diva A-mei (Taiwan) also looks like she belongs on Hooker Hill. The skimpy dress accessorized with fishnet stockings and red pumps don’t do justice to her gorgeous face.
F4 (Taiwan) Can’t complain about four well-dressed pretty boys. Too bad that they have to go back to Taiwan after the concert.
Golf & Mike (Thailand) must love shinny fabrics…
Gigi Leung’s (HK) tall figure and sassy hair support her mico mini, but her boots totally killed the look. Sexy pumps might have done the trick.
Kuraki Mai’s (Japan) curtain hair and waitress outfit make me forget that she’s a top singer in Japan.
Peterpan (Indonesia) Please excuse my lack of knowledge of this rock band, but can someone please tell the guys in navy shorts and shirt that ankle socks are now available for sale? While you are at it, gently tell him that his 9:1 ratio hairpart is way too unnatural. But love the name of the band!
Lam Truong (Vietnam) looks more like a manager than a singer.
Vicki Zhao’s (China) dress is one size too big for her to look good in it.

As for the critics on their fashion style.. well, i guess everyone has their own style, eh ? Oh and as far as i know, they came down to Seoul to perform at a music festival and not walking on a cat-walk in some fashion event ^^ However, i’ll still thank you for the critics..

Although it was a disappointment that none of the Korean representatives showed for the Press Conference–perhaps there was a valid reason?
Like someone suggested earlier, it would have been nice if you were able to say why certain groups were unable to attend. It’s practically mudslinging when you say ’so and so’ didn’t come because they’re stuck up when the truth of the matter is very different.
I think I enjoyed reading the comments more than the actual article, though this article was more informative than the one directly on the Asia Song Festival Concert.

I’m surprised to know Peterpan has so many fans from many countries. What makes them different from other bands in that event is they’re not typical boyband. They are the band with the real talents and skills. For those who don’t know about Peterpan, just type Peterpan Indonesia in youtube and you will see they have a lot of hit songs. Their songs give strong impression to people who listen to them. A malaysian band even went so far into making the English version of Peterpan’s song. And a famous music director in India plagiarised one of Peterpan’s song to put in his films. It became no.1 hit in India. Many Indians said it’s the best Indian song ever, until they found out that it was copied from Peterpan’s song.
Search for Peterpan in Wikipedia and you’ll know how great they are.

Peterpan is band from indonesia and popular in south Asia(Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura and Brunei may be in Philipine).
I knew this band when i saw Asian Idol and this band sing a song which very popular in India. I just knew if india version is Copy from Peterpen’s Song.

There are lots of filipuino who has really great voice like kitchie nadal, barbie almalbis, sarah geronimo…and there are lots of filipinos now are beoming popular in the US like Ariel Pineda and Charice pampengco…..We know there are lots of great artist in other parts of asia but when filipinos sang uses english language the sound, intonations and everything are very clear. Filipino singers doesn’t need to go to US or canada or england or whatever country that uses english as their native language because filipinos actually was born to have a clear and good accent….I lov other countries I have no issue they’ve also got lots of talented artist…I also respect them…..I just want to say that Philippines must always be considered in those statement above. If you can see theres really lots of talented, high notes and voices that got talent here in the Philippines….Philippines must not be left out….were also one of the countries who have lots of talents and Philippines also art of Asia. Just don’t forget that Philippins is Asia also like japan, korea, thailand, taiwan, china, singapore, malaysia, india I think…..and if ever I forgot something pardon me.
I do love other countries like korea japan…malaysia and others as well…and lots of good artist. One of the coutries in asia that have plenty of great artist is also philippines. When other asian go to the other countries that uses native language they also get its accent but even though philippines doesn’t go to that other countries they still get also good and clear accent. We filipinos are easy to learn english and its tones……..because we have great and high standard in terms of english educations but low cost of living for foreigners. So please if everyone out there or even popseoul don’t even think that filipino artist are small because when they compete with you they also got everything and more talent to give like other part of asian countires.
And evryone who doesn’t know barbie alamalbis she’s a really great artist here don’t small her because she’s got really talent and a great voice also like kitchie nadal, other filipino artist. You guys never heard them sing…..thats why you omment a lot try to know them better they are really talented artist.
