Big Bang and Wondergirls’ special stage on Music Bank

10.07 bigbang wondergirls

The much anticipated special stage of Big Bang and Wondergirls on Music Bank was a huge disappointment. The two groups danced to each other’s songs and sang lines here and there in their usual outfits. Big deal – we know that these two groups can bust a move. What I wanted to see was Wondergirls in thuggish hip-hop wear trying to be cool and Big Bang boys in some washed-out jeans and gay 80s shirt singing “Tell Me” in that annoying high tone. Too bad that they stayed so true to their fabricated color.

popseoul is so mean…. I loved the performance!! I love Big Bang.. I mean they did fine,, its really hard to combine this 2 opposite groups.. I love Lie by Big Bang… I hate the ending of I Am Sam (huhu!)

so not what i wanted from a collabaration from WG and BB. Tha video was so gay the way BB dressed up and WG just didnt dress up for the part when they sang “Lie”….

  7. 7 azure October 8, 2007 at 1:18 am

Too bad you couldn’t hear Big Bang in “Tell Me.” >< With the exception of one girl, WG couldn’t sing all that well, especially the girl with the high voice.

Ahaahaha~ G-Dragon didn’t seem to be all that into it like the other members.

    <3 TOP ^^

I don’t know why you thought BB would dress as girls on national TV. But anyway I like it and I think that Tell Me was done better the Lie.

  9. 9 jy October 8, 2007 at 4:58 am

i think the dancing arrangement during tell me was better than lie, in lie, they were all over the place. but the singing for lie was a bit better than tell me because i coudn’t hear big bang very well in tell me. but over all i loved the performance, oh yeah and tae yang and sunyeh…hehe. and did anyone notice seung ri?? he looked like he really enjoyed singing tell me, so cute!

No wonder he was Soo Hee… He looks just like her XD
I just noticed that who ever they were dressed up in the parody is who they sang with in their LIES+TELL ME Special Stage!

it looks like HS talent show…a bad one… its because of WG! I love them but man they sucked on this performance!!!!
but BB was HOT! Lie was better than Tell Me…

They look cute together. And that’s it! Are the Wondergirls singing? They should spend more time learning how to sing on stage. Or maybe it’s because of the crazily singing-along crowd? No way, because I can still hear BIGBANG singing, and as usual, they sounds so great! By the way, all of the BIGBANG boys look good in pink outfits, even kind of fun, except for Daesung. HELP! What the hell is he thinking ? I don’t know but both songs remind me of the 80s. Is that a new trend in Kpop? Hope it won’t last long.

i have to agree with you about their clothes.
i was expecting something BETTER than that too.
in the end, all they did was to reverse the colors. LOL!

  14. 14 Mai October 9, 2007 at 9:29 am

This was really disappointing and Lie was boring

i hated the set up of the stage, it was messy and distracting.

im sorry, WG cant sing. especially the one with the whole cutesy voice. The only girl i thought was good was the rapper.
There are better girl groups out there that have better vocals and have heavy dance routines. -_- WG dont even have to sing for their chorus and they still sound bad

i couldnt hear BB in tell me. There were a few things they shouldve worked on too -_-

whats with these wonder girls? Sure they act cute.. what happened to talent, that second girl who sings has she not gone to singing lessons? -.-” it would’ve been more interesting if bb had put on a more interesting show, do something more daring perhaps.

  16. 16 lil.thu October 15, 2007 at 7:32 pm

oh i take back part of my comment, the girls who rap arnt that bad =]

  17. 18 Adrianna October 21, 2007 at 4:43 pm

wow….this whole ss sparked so many hateful comments about wg.

I love both groups and I love the perf. jealously and girl hate seems rampant here.
this was obviously for entertainment purposes only.

besides why hate on the groups when it’s all in the hands of producers and choreographers??

wondergirls can sing and live at that as well.

heck! i don’t care what everybody else think. I REALLY ENJOYED THE SHOW! i wasn’t really paying attention to the singing and stuff, all i know is that they were all having fun! and man, i really got hooked! especially to the SUN YE and TAE YANG pairing – that’s what i call HOT. They would do me a favor if they go out. You know date, and get married afterwards. lol.
anyway, i think most of the people who find it worse than bad are jealous. they can’t even write something to support their criticism. “wonder girls are ugly” yeah right. they should all look at theirselves. haha!
but for those who find it bad because of so hee’s voice, the messy formation on the “LIE” part, and the fact that you can barely hear BIG BANG on tell me, i have to agree:)
but since popseoul is being bias, then i can be bias too. And since i really, really love tae yang and sun ye, I have to say the show was more than SPECTACULAR. I want a REPEAT.:)

PS: Jealous people, you can’t have BIG BANG. bleh:P Especially Tae Yang coz he belongs to Sun Ye. lolz.

  19. 21 ... October 25, 2007 at 1:11 pm

Big Bang looks really, really homosexual. Thus, I am satisfied. 8D Seriously, TOP, you can only be so cool in a pink ski jacket. I can’t tell them apart yet, but the ones that weren’t TOP or the one in the ghetto hat (Taeyang?) – (Who does that leave? G-Dragon, Daesung, uh… WHO AM I MISSING OH CRAP) were certainly gaying it up. <3 I approve.

LOL @ your blog, that would be cool to see wondergirls dance i hip hop wear, but big bang in “washed-out jeans and gay 80s shirt ” narrr, pass. haha

the double performance collaboration was so fun to watch! i enjoyed it.
