However, if you were in Shanghai last night, October 6th, 2007, you could have been part of the legions of screaming fans at sexy singer Rain’s I’m Coming World Tour at Hongkou Soccer Stadium. He is back on the tour trail after a 4 month hiatus.
Next up, Rain will return to the motherland for a special concert for the World Athletics Championships at Daegu World Cup Stadium on October 27th, 2007. And in November, Rain will fly to the U.S. to brush up on his English skills and meet with producers to prepare for his entry into the American market.
Rain is the first Korean singer to go on a “World Tour.” And you don’t have to tell us that he is our finest export.

And you are right when you said he’s the finest export of Korea. Don’t want to talk about his look or his voice, his dancing, as a hallyu star, I think he has done a good job so far. You Korean should be proud of it. I would die if there was someone who can do that for my country. But…wait a minute, are you Korean?
I don’t know who Rain has hooked up with in the US to market his English language CD, but I’m really hoping they talk him into dumping all the Michael Jackson crap. It is so old, so been-done-to-death, and it makes Rain look like a wannabe instead of his own man. C’mon Rain, you’ve left JYP–you don’t have to wear those ridiculous costumes anymore!
