Top boy-band DBSK’s grand plan to take over Asia was hindered by Typhoon Krosa over the weekend. Due to the extreme weather conditions, the five four syllable named boys had to cancel one of their concert date, but overall “2nd Asia Tour Concert ‘O’ in Taipei” was a success. Local Cassiopeias filled the airports and some even flew in from Hong Kong, Malaysia, etc to enjoy the company of their favorite oppas.
Despite their foreign successes, I say these boys return to their motherland if they don’t want to see their hubaes, Super Junior bagging all the industry awards and stealing their fans during their absence. How many ex-Cassiopeia Elves are needed to bring these pretty boys back home?

I kind of disagree…first I didn’t realize how young they were…(and that makes me feel very old and sad T_T)secondly oh my goodness do you see that ChangMin?? I always thought he was so ugly but the boy is growing and really getting sexy like he is so hot now. First for me it was all JaeJoong and even he was not a draw enough for me to even listen to DBSK…but I say all of this to say don’t count them out just yet…they are still young. I see a lot of potential growth for them. They might need to change their style or even go solo but they got it.
Aww, I miss them, too, but at least they perform live more in Japan than they do Korea (not bashing their singing because they’re wonderful vocalists, but they do put in a lot more effort to appease a foreign crowd than back at home). But yes, they do need to come back to Korea because, in my opinion, their Korean material is way better than their Japanese. Isn’t their fourth Korean album coming out next year? I hope Soo Man hasn’t forgotten about them.
I really wish they’d come back home too. ;o; But if they’re doing well in other parts of Asia, good for them. I do agree with Amy, though–IMO, their Korean material is way superior to their Japanese music. It might just be the appeal of the style, but I really do wish they’d come back and do more activities in Korea.
I agree that they do need to go back to Korea— I think their fans are getting restless by now! It’ll be so sad if they lose fans to super junior! DBSK is so much better musically and vocally. How can a group who is barely even a “group” dominate?

Another note, the idea of a 2nd debut in another country was all in due to the Korean wave and such beginning w/ *majority of the time* either Japan or China if you’re a Korean Gasoo. I’ve also read somewhere that Korea music entertainment want there to be no flaws.. and {i don’t have anything to back this up but) the producers, or any of those higher rankings people in the industry think that singer live will lessen their other abilities on stage and whatnot. quote “its better to just concentrate on one thing while youre on stage than two” unquote.
Plus, if youre in another country, of course you’d have to learn their language and interact more w/ the people of that country. I doubt you can go to Japan, but only speaks Korean on national TV, to want your popularity to rise in Japan.. all in doingso to please your fans back home.. where they may or may not have the access to Japan TV.

Yeah we all hope for DBSK to return to Korea but I dont think that will happen at the moment.. We all know SM wanna make money, and now that the dongbang boys have made it big in Korea, I expect that SM would want them to dominate the whole of Asia. So I guess that until SM see some result in their overseas expenditure, I don’t think SM will bring them back to Korea. Especially now that the boys are halfway making it big in Taiwan and Malaysia.

They wont release an album in Korea untill Super Junior is finisher promoting their current album. It dosen’t make since for SM to have the two groups compeating against each other. They will more than likly put out another album some time after the 1st of the year.
I’m not complaining because I like both their Korean and Japaneese music. I live in the states, so it is all the same to me. I with they would come out here a do a concert.

As much as I like their Japanese ballads, I don’t think doing jpop challenges them as artists. they’re releasing really mediocre songs and we haven’t exactly seen the powerful performances lately. I seriously think SM just screwed them over. It’s like they dropped them off in Japan and left them. “All right. We’ll be focusing on SUJU now. That’s 13 times more money. When I first read the title I thought it was about Rain Bi and TVXQ fighting or something…
The only thing that I want is those singles they did in Japan but apparently arent being realized elsewhere, maze, crazy life, my girlfriend, rainy night…yeah those… Their early Japanese stuff like The way U are does sound a bit different from the way U are korean version because they were not feeling it since they hardly knew the language but know they know the language. Chinese I heard them say a few things in Chinese in some youtube video, if people really want to see their concerts and stuff they can just go to youtube, veoh and so on like we do over here…let the boys grow into men which they are trying to do and been doing a great job at it. They need to branch out and if they want to come to the US let them come we need people who are not afraid of doing new things but good things not stupid things. Although if they do come to the US I hope they stay humble as they are right now and true to themselves and not change just because music industry is different (meaning becoming drug addicts drinking and parting all the time and losing tallent)
I am not saying there is not any talent here but most of the stars here are either getting high as hell or drinking themselves to rehab.
If DBSK does go to Korea it’s because they finished doing what they have to do, although I am kind of worried about their health since they been flying around too much. Personally I felt that senting the boys to Japan was a good decision.Going thru the hardship of learning another language and culture has actually refined the boys in many ways.Motivation, teamwork,appreciation and manners etc.With this part of learning has made them into fine gentleman .One can actually sees the difference in them especially during a live interview and how the Japanses MC admires them on the improvement of the language. I am sure as a devoted fan everyone can just go into Youtube or other forum to keep in touch with their news and their progress and not necessary that they have to go back to Korea to gain their popularity. I loves their songs no matter in what language.Their Japanese songs sounds smoother in tune and is quite appealling . Their Japanese stylist has done a good job in the choice of clothings. They look so handsome and full of charisma nowadays.I see them now full of confidence in whatever they do or go anywhere. It is good training that bears good results.I would say without this kind of teamwork there would not be any success….DBSK success will last a long time …as one of the devoted fan ,we will follow you wherever you all will be.If korean fans who are easily sway just because the boys are not in Korean than they shud not even call themselves DBSK fans.

moreover, i dont think SuJu is comparable enough to dbsk. Like what someone said, Super Junior is more like an idol group than a band like dbsk. DBSK can sing any genre (including acapella), dance and compose songs of their own. While Super Junior, they do dance and sing, but i dont think they compose much, and sing acapellas and the like. if i were to challenge SuJu to do DBSK’s Tonight, i dont think they can do a good job at it. Not like i hate Suju, i actually like them and their goofiness, but you know… to compare SuJu with DBSK is not doing any justice to both groups and to us, fans.
