Ballad singer Maybee is confusing the reporters again because of her resemblance to sexy singer Ivy. At her 2nd album launch, a reporter addressed her as Ivy, which got everyone laughing except the singer in question. And it probably hurts her more that nobody mistakes sexy diva Ivy as the ballad princess Maybee. But despite the similar profiles, I don’t understand why people confuse the two singers. Ivy is totally sexed up while Maybee is totally covered up. Can you tell the difference between the two?

They both look terrible in those pictures. I could somehow believe it was the same person if you told me it was some kind of make over but really they dont look all that similiar, maybe just the eyes. The noses are extremely different, etc.
Ivy looks hella old in that photo like in the late 30s. She needs to do something more to her skin to look fresher and younger. Maybee should be insulted to be mistaken for that old woman cuz she looks really young in comparison

I can tell the difference. Maybee has black hair Ivy has lighter hair. Maybee sings ballads Ivy sings a bigger range of songs. Ivy can dance Maybee can not. Maybee is conservative Ivy is sexed up. Plenty of differences.

Well, some people actually look at their faces rather than their ’sex appeal’. From those pictures above, excluding the eyes, I would have thought they were twins, but if you keep going down, there’s a definite difference.
They’re actually implying about the name. I read it back a while ago. Somehow people get mixed between the two when saying it in Korean.

yeah. in english it sounds totally different, but in korean, it’s actually quite similar. koreans say “ivy” like “Ah-Ee-Bee” and Maybee like “Meh-Ee-Bee”.

I have listened to Ivy songs and frankly I don’t like them. I like them less than Wonder Girl’s Song Tell Me which annoys me.
When i first heard MayBee in “Letter Written to You Part 2″ with MC Mong i was like… woah she can sing.
I then checked out a live performance they recorded on youtube… and the thing is. she sounded good! I think she has a beautiful voice.
it is hard to sound good in a concert without all the state of the art recording systems.
I can understand them being mixed up because of names… and their eyes. But that’s it.
There is very little similar between the two.
