Yep, I agree with ‘merriwether’ that there is a degree of realness to the picture because i’ve seen Thank You and when I saw his body, I was like “whoa”, he has a six pack? It shows that he does work-out a lot but he needs to stop here and not go any further otherwise, it gets nasty. Airbrush or not, he still looks good.

Ah people that know very little about the modeling world. It is possible to attain this look with lighting, which doesn’t necessarily mean they used lighting, but it is more probable.
hahaha, it ALMOST looked like his nipples were missing…but i found them after a while of searching, i’m sure it’s due to the photoshopping.

Every magazine cover is airbrushed/Ps-ed so it doesn’t bother me. His body really does look like that. It’s all the Jeet Kune Do martial arts and workouts that caused that. Anyway the cover is hot!!

personally, though…i’m not so big on bulky, muscular bodies. i’m more inclined towards lean, lithe and lanky guys. haha. the sickly types will suffice… but i do see the attraction in jang hyuk’s type of body.

every magazine, every photos in magazines, books, catalogs, they’re all photo retouched. i know, im in design.. no one is ever on covers looking natural. it’s all air brushed to make it look more appealing
Jang Hyuk is definitely versatile… a model, singer and really good actor and comedian. Not to mention an athlete. So no matter where you put him, he’s looks great.
Most, if not all, magazine publishers will utilise computerised touch-ups for their pictures, period. It’s the way things are ‘meant’ to look in the fashion world.
That said, if you have seen ‘Thankyou’ you will realise THAT IS Jang Hyuk’s body. All I can say is the 2yrs in the military certainly did this man (& us) alot of good =D The first shower scene was like “WOAH!!”

Thank you is one of the best dramas I’ve seen in a long time. The musical score is really good too, especially Beautiful World.
I specially liked the “Komapsumnida” song. But the Beautiful World was also touching. They’re both very touching.
Yes Mary, “Komapsumnida” song is very touching. I like it too. I bought the OST and the music brings back a lot of the wonderful scenes. I really like the scene when Bom was teaching Min Ki Seo how to sing “Beautiful World”.

in “thank you”, he does have a wonderfully sexy body - yes including the packs. he’s lean and totally oh-so-sexy in there! i think the photoshop, if any, actualy enhanced his body.
