Lexy signs with SB&W Entertainment

Lexy hyung left YG Entertainment and found a new home at SB&W (Sony BMG & Widethan). It would be interesting to see SB&W repackage the tough hipster as they push Lexy’s album in international markets. This new record contract is a sweet deal for Lexy, but why is YG losing artists left and right? Is father YG playing favorites or are they just growing up?

Lexy plans to release her next album beginning of next year. Good luck Lexy!

YG can’t promote for jack so they have to focus on one artist at a time.

Beside this is SONY BMG and it’s a good move for Lexy.

lexy hyung is her nickname… at least that’s what i read. she doesn’t like it too much though. glad to hear that she’s signed with another label. i can’t wait for her new album.

Meh, YG is losing artist isn;t a big deal. Look how many artists left SM. Plus they got a lot of new trainees and returning groups. Personally i loved lexy and the best of luck to her at whatever she does!

I don’t think Se7en will leave YG that easily because I think he holds some of the shares.

Ah, but it’s true. YG has a lot of new talent such as Ji Eun and Park Bom so it’ll be alright. =] Good luck to Lexy!

lexys messed up. yg’s been in contract with her even though her previous album effed up. i hope seven doesnt leave too…yg rules!
if they hav beef with yg then they should go to another label but they should be thankful that they got famous cuz of yg.

Se7en will most likely not leave YG. He’s their favorite over any other artists. They’d pulled support off of other promising artists like Skull in the US (who already made it to Reggae BillBoard Top 10) instead of supporting him. In their minds, they believe a girly man like Se7en will be the one to crossover to US. They’re missing the point. American audience don’t like men who looks feminine.

i wish lexy all the best…i think the separation between YG and lexy is amicable yet painful for both parties…Yang hyun suk said so in his pas message regarding lexy’s departure from YG…he was in distraught but i guess that’s how life can be sometimes…to think she was the first lady of YG, tsk tsk…i really wish her all the best and if she does go international, i’ll support her all the way! she’s way to talented to stay on the side lines…
