Everyday is Halloween for Lee Jung Hyun

1030leejung-kyun7.jpg

No, this is not some scary Halloween outfit. It’s Lee Jung Hyun, the techno singer, doing her usual “creative” or freaky gigs. Lee decided to go back to her acting roots in Korea and resume her singing career only in China. Lee started her entertainment career as an actress, so her decision to go back to acting doesn’t raise any eyebrows, but is the Chinese music industry that easy to get into? Lee Jung Hyun’s five seconds of fame was owed to her “creative” concepts and not her vocal talents.

Ms. Lee Jung Hyun will release her first album in China next month and will return to Seoul early next year to start filming her drama.

I like heavy eyeliners and dark eyeshadows on my eyes… ^_^

    I think she looks awesome.
I’m kinda bummed cuz I love her music so much, she is the one who got me into kpop many years ago. But the record sales in Korea have been so disappointing lately, esp for someone who has sold as many records as her. I cannot blame her. Best of luck in China!

    GASP BLASPHEMY

During her early days at least, Lee Jung Hyun was one of the best Korean acts precisely DUE to her creativity.

IMO, she deserved more than five seconds, espescially when up until now, we still get talentless artists inexplicably lasting for much longer.

I wondered what happened to her.

I liked her. And I agree with TIMSUN, at least she brought something different to the industry.

I expect her to bring new kind of music like she did last time. And also I want her to dance with Myung-soo Park to the 8 bit Euro techno rhythm when she gets back to Korea early next week.

5 seconds of fame? I get that you’re trying to be snarky and witty for the sake of making your blog entertaining… but 5seconds is a stretch.

I wonder what happened to her, she was so famous with that song in the past.

Well, she’s still rather famous with the male celebs. They’ve all been wanting to bed her according to one of those talk shows.

I’d like to see her ditch the music career and be in a movie where she’s little red riding hood hunting werewolves. She already has the gothic doll look going for her.

lawl. i like lee jung hyun! she looks good in that big picture with all the eye makeup- even if it’s “fake” stuff

i agree. at least she brought something different and she has some classic songs x]. ierno. it seems rare to see super good vocals for a techno singer. =/ i have yet to see one. if u really wanna complain, complain about untalented & uncreative artists, like hyori. can’t sing or dance & has uncreative songs & music videos.

there were lots of better pictures out there… anyways she looks good.

i agree with timsum i dont really think it was 5 seconds of fame. she really did something for the kpop industry. her fans were so crazy back then. and she even had ahjuma’s dancing to that one song i think it was bahn(?) because her dance worked on your jiggly arms lol.

Wth five seconds? >_> She’s the TECHNO QUEEN.

I like LJH, her techno and creativity own. She and Turbo got me into Kpop :|

I’d like to see her release new korean techno songs…

“Lee Jung Hyun’s five seconds of fame was owed to her “creative” concepts and not her vocal talents.”

Dude, that’s harsh and unfair. True, she may have been the first Korean singer to add a gothic style to her acts – following David Bowie, Alice Cooper and the likes – but, she’s far from being the most talentless or boring K-pop stars. Give credit where credit is due. So, don’t be hatin’.

I love her to bits, more LJH news please!!! <3
