Mr. Rain decided to board the plane all by himself this Friday. According to J.Tune, Rain’s new entertainment company, the shrimp eyed star feels confident enough to meet and negotiate with Hollywood producers and directors without the help of his managers and translators.
The Korean media is congratulating Rain on his newly found English skills, but we know better. This “world star” can’t even order room service properly. I’m not sure what he’s trying to prove, but what’s the point of meeting up with producers all by himself? There’s certainly nothing wrong with meeting Hollywood producers with his managers. In fact, it’s actually idiotic to represent oneself in the entertainment industry. Is Rain going to LA alone to follow in JYP’s footsteps? Or is Rain really that fluent in English and wants to show off?

i love popseoul but its obvious tht they hate rain for sm reason. every post on him is against him. i love rain tho. he is a good actor.
During his Korean fanmeet this year, he could say stuff like “Give me a hug”, “How are you guys doing?”, “I miss you”, . Very basic, simple English. I don’t think he can manage a sentence with more than 10 words. So conversation is definitely a no-no.
He said very very little at the Bangkok fanmeet. My friend only remembers him getting annoyed with fans who took his picture (although they were specifically told “No photos” before he arrived). Thanks to those dumb-ass fans, he left in a lousy mood.
